Yes up here in Canada you can buy these all the time, but they're usually a little hard to find, so you might not find them in a common corner-store.

I'm not a fan of super spicy but these were mainly mouth heat, less throat heat. I thought they were delicious, little heat with a little respite while eating the regular ones. Fun.
They had these in the UK and they had chips of all different heat levels and some were killer!

A pizza company here in New Zealand called Hells Pizza did something similar with a special pizza you could order. All but one of the slices were normal. On one slice however they added chopped up jalapeño peppers hidden under the cheese.
The problem with them all being in the same bag is some of the spicy coating could rub onto non-spicy ones beside them and the non-spicy coating could also get onto the spicy one cutting a little of the hotness.
For those of us used to eating spicy foods, these kinds of challenges can be quite difficult to know if you lost or not as we are so used to the spice we hardly notice it a lot of the time. I bet that is why you had trouble telling what one was the real spicy one. To those not used to spicy foods it would be obvious, but not for those of us who love chili.

Don't they increase in heat? Here in England it goes like cheese, then mild heat, then medium heat, then high heat and finally super hot.

Yes, I remember your other Dorito videos, thank you very much... you don't have to remind me, because every single time I've watched them I get serious cravings :P I can only get the Norwegian version which is just called "tortilla chips" with cheese flavor. The store next to me used to sell the original Doritos, but I haven't seen them in a while... anyways, those are too boring. I really miss the cool ranch flavored ones that I got to try from the USA, they're my absolute fav!

hello from Canada! yes, you can find these all the time! I always get these and we've tried to distinguish which is spicy and which isn't and there really isn't any way to tell!

emmy, here in Brazil we had these for quite some time, and now we have the roulette 2.0, its 2 or 3 times spicier than the normal one.
$4.29?! That's insane! Here in Holland they sell them for €1.50 - €1.90, I love those chips!
I love how you aren't sure if you will end up with a really spicy one or not
My family tried these we figured the spice was baked into the chip not anything todo with the cheese powder on top or they all would end up a bit spicy otherwise. So you wouldn't be able to tell which is spicy based on color of the powder.
You can get them all year round in Ireland too

I live in Toronto and I rarely see these chips at my local grocer :( . Not sure about other Canadian provinces/cities.

Emmy btw, if you look very very closely at the red flakes you can see a difference! The spicy ones have red flakes that are more like finely crushed pepper flakes whereas the regular have normal red flakes that are round and a bit more red. I took my time investigating this and tested it! Great video!

The whole concept is like eating Pimientos Padron. (small green peppers from Spain (unos pican y otros non - about 1 in 10)). We've had all kinds of theories. The large ones, the small ones, the pointy ones... But you can never tell. Like the idea!
Have you heard of the Paqui chip? The single serve chip that is supposed to be super spicy. I would love to see you do that. 😁 Keep doing what you do. Love your videos!

Walmart has the roulette Doritos as well as Dollar General if you have one in you're area.
