- relaunching my small business with God is a series where I'll be sharing the raw process of trusting in him and rebuilding my business after putting it aside due to fear and doubt. I've felt called to get back into the swing of things for a while, but I kept putting it off and ignoring God's voice because things felt more uncertain than I wanted, and I thought my own plans made more sense than what he was calling me to do.
I believed following another path for safety and stability was the right choice, and while I'm grateful for the experiences I've had along the way, it's clear where I should be putting my time and energy -- right here.
Running a small business and taking a leap of faith requires us to be obedient, patient, fearless, and fully believing in God's plans for our lives. It calls us to rely on who HE says we are, not the fear, mistakes, or doubt.
I felt called to create this series because I know there are so many women out there who gave up on their dreams and callings or are too afraid to get started, and if my experiences of starting over and relaunching my small business can inspire even ONE woman to do the same, I'll be happy. At the end of the day, all of this is so much bigger than myself.

Ma'am, thank you for making this video. I am having a hard time with my small business and I am reaping all the bad seeds I sow. This video made me realize that I closed the door God had opened for me. I need to pray now, confess to Him, ask for forgiveness and start again this business He gave me. He has plans for me and I must follow His lead. I have put my faith in Him and I must put Him first.

dont feel bad i am relaunching my business as well, i had to hit the bottom to really see who was there for me out of the kindness of their hearts and i found out no one was, my husband and i were laid off our landlord did renew our lease we were going through hell frfr, but now we are doing great...getting things back in order

Wow! I thought what I’m going through is bad. You guys went through a lot worst than my family and I at the moment. I’m pregnant, don’t have health insurance so don’t know how or where we’ll get money to pay for care. Recently, we started up our small boutique business and it’s not doing well. Been seeking God, praying like crazy, and waiting… but God is always faithful. Keep believing in Him. 😊❤

It doesn't sound like you're starting over, it sounds like you're continuing. You got yourself to safety (financially through freelancing) and maybe you just took a break from your business. Great video.

What I've learned after starting over, is you MUST enjoy the process or it aint God, & your creativity wont flow, increase you/nourish you... thats right I said *aint*. Give it to God & let him lead. Dont forget to listen for our Father's voice. Great video, short, simple & to the point.
Haha, with emphasis on the "ain't." I agree, the first time I did this, my creativity was blocked when I fell into survival mode attempting to lead myself rather than letting God. Hard lesson learned. Appreciate you watching!

I suffered a medical issue which caused me to have to leave my job. I also found peace in making candles and last year opened my own web shop. Recently I’m struggling to re-find God and struggling with feelings of failing. After reading the comments, it feels like we were all meant to find you, and to know that none of us are in this alone. Thank you for sharing this vulnerable yet so heart touching video.. In 2020 I also decided to venture out and start my own business. I decided to sell waffles. Due to fear I closed the door prematurely and got an office job. I have always wrestled with God after that whether I did the right choice and as of lately I have felt more inclined to reopen the door that I prematurely closed. Im glad you shared your story. I dont feel more certain whether its the right thing to go back in business but I no longer feel alone in this and a spark of hope was ignited while watching your video. Thank you and God bless you!

The best thing we can do is make our will line up with the will of God! God is faithful and honors his word! It’s not about us! It’s about Him and bringing Glory to his name and kingdom! That should always be our ulterior motive! The bargaining, tears, feelings don’t mean much! Go to God with HIS WORD. Our Goal should be to please God and serve others.

I loved this video so much! you have such a calming voice. God is taking me through a season of stepping into the vision which He has given me - it has been scary and there are moments when I too want to run from the call but He is so faithful and is with me, you and everyone else who is on a similar journey. Today, during prayer He prompted me to read the call of Moses - even though Moses was called, he had many doubts and wanted to reject the call BUT GOD!
Yes! It can be so terrifying, but I agree that he is faithful and that alone outweighs our fear when we really lean in. Don't you love it when he leads you to a Bible passage that is specifically meant for the season of your life? I can relate to Moses, because initially when God told me it was time to continue what I started I wanted to reject the call for many reasons. Sending you love :)

I feel like I'm going through something similar. I started a crochet business where I plan to sell my amigurumi patterns. It's been an extremely slow process and the doubt surrounding this is constantly hitting me. Thanks for sharing 😊🙏
I was talking to a friend who has been a small business owner for over three years, and she was telling me that a big part of how she got this far is that she never focuses on fast growth, but rather on slow and steady. It's allowed her to build a consistent community and income for herself. I hope the doubt leaves and your crochet business continues to grow. I would love to stay in touch as well. Sending you love!
