  • In rugby, having lots of skill and pace sometimes just isn’t enough. Sometimes you need brute strength and a hand to the face! In this video we showcase the best hand-offs in Rugby World Cup history. Featured in this video: Sebastien Chabal (France), Jonah Lomu (New Zealand) and Faf De Klerk (South Africa)

    Go back and watch the dan carter one again. Then watch it once more to make sure... His whole play is ridiculous! The dummy, then hand off then an incredible pass, faster than the eye can see all whilst about to take a hit! He basically takes out five players!

    • @KingDomIV
      @KingDomIV 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      no. a hand off is not a punch and thats not what these guys are doing (the good ones, any bad ones might be illegal). If you try to punch it wont work (actually it probably would but no, thats not real rugby) and thats why thats not what they are doing, they do what works. Its more like an aikido throw and its one of the most subtle and skillful arts displayed by ruby players. No debate. Dont. Seriously, there is no need. A hand off doesnt hurt. It hurts much less than it does to tackle someone. We dont need a debate here, the hand off must stay, its a thing of beauty. Not thuggery.
