Just some info. The harder tiers you have to find fuses for the breaker. Also stay calm in a closet is more than hiding in a closet. It's a mini game. When the ghost is right outside it pops up and you have to hit space bar on the heartbeats. Loving this series.

I feel as if this game and phasmo need to merge. They both have features that interest the masses but cursed objects and personal items would make it ultra fun, then adding the effects to the already freaky "ghost events" adding a few tweeks here n there for effects, and of course adding more slow burn instead of having the straight jump scare over and over. Eventually you'll grow immune to that too, so you've gotta make it more unexpected and more importantly more mentally affective, like giving the scares different timings and different types, things that would seem entirely unexpected like an object on the wall that wasn't there before switching faces whispering up to a jump scare up close, flying objects or ethereal objects being thrown at you only to go through you and the wall.
I feel this way too, personally I still see phasma as better than this game. More ghost types, less straight jump scares (you get spooked by the environment, rather than the loud noises), later map variety, including outdoors. Both have cursed objects now. The only thing I see this game doing better, is the exorcizing and exiling. This game, eventually, will be in the same boat as Phasma.
Yeah unfortunately with every scary game you will eventually get use to the bigger jumpscares and really rely on the ambience to build up the tension and then the small jumpscares can get you. I have a little over 300 hours in Phasmophobia and things can still catch me off guard but I think it does the slight jumpscares extremely well instead of going overboard. I plan on giving this game a shot too though.

You are so right, I love this game!!! I lost interest in phasphobia, last year and there is nothing that can drawn me back. This is the game, is everything phasphobia should've been. I would really love to have a game with you on this game!!!!
I havent played this game yet, and it does look fun, but I think phasmo has the edge in some areas, probably due to having been in development for longer. My favorite thing about phasmo right now is playing nightmare mood, and needing to discover the ghost without a third clue based on its behavior or special abilities. I find this makes the investigation more interesting and can lead to discussions with your teammates when people disagree. The jump scares in this game look great, especially the room full of people staring at you one, and at first I wished phasmo would do things like that, but the more I thought about it, I think that will lose its scariness pretty quickly after you've encountered it enough times, and because it's noticeably different from a ghost hunt, you will reach a point where you pretty much just ignore it. In phasmo they have made the ghost events pretty similar to the start of a hunt, so every time one happens theres a jolt of fear until you can identify whether or not it's actually hunting. I also think the exiling looks pretty tedious and uninteresting right now. If you dont destroy the cursed item, you're just running around yelling "close" repeatedly, and if you do, you're mostly just reading from a book and occasionally hiding if the ghost hunts, which seems easy to do because you can place the symbol far away from the ghosts room and right next to a closet. The investigation phase is inherently more dangerous as you have to be near the ghost to do it, and can be surprised by a hunt, and I think phasmo just executes that phase better, particularly in nightmare mode. Overall, I feel like phasmo has a more interesting and fleshed out investigation phase, which i find to be the more interesting part of the gameplay loop. I have no doubts this game will continue to improve as they develop it, but as it stands right now, once the jump scares get old, and you get tired of shouting "close", I dont think this game would have the longevity that phasmo has had, at least until more features are added or improved.

just saying... can double click large cabinet doors and closet doors to open easy!! ...not normal drawers tho! ... - for Voice Recorder... ask it: give us a sign...where are you?... are you near?... how old are you?.... the "!" means it heard your question... a "ghost" symbol will appear there, when playing back, if an answer is given from ghost... -can also ask quijia "where is your passport?"... - as for ghost fav item, on beginner there are only 3 items in map, so guarenteed to get it eventually ... madman has 5 items so choose wisely... and HOST can tell item by holding only one item at tent away from others and checking the activity meter.. itll spike to 8ish and stay steady there if holding the cursed item! cheers! happy gaming ! -Savant

Tips!!! You can ask the Ouija board “what it’s favorite room is” instead of “where are you?”. They will give you different answers. You can ask where her item is. You can close portals for someone while they are doing the ritual while you are dead. The voice recorder will pick up random sounds as well, you have to listen back to them to find out if it was actually a ghost voice. (A ghost symbol will pop up on the screen) P.S my girlfriend and I watch your videos on our TV whenever you make a new one, so keep up with the content. The other reason why this game is much better than Phasmophobia is because the jumpscare is so unexpected and the horror as well. It is more dynamic than a static Phasmophia game.

I think that is the main reason I enjoy Phasmophobia over other ghost hunting games. The jump scares aren't so in your face and its a bit more subtle and relies on the environment to creep you out. I plan on getting this game though and giving it a shot though. It does look good.
