I would like to see a side by side review of the Origin8 vs the Ride Out Supply. I have the ROS, they have similar specs so I would love to see a test.
The 15T fit on my GT Mohawk flip flop hub on my 1991 Redline. Sounds loud which makes people get out of the way which is definitely a plus. I hope it frees up a little because the drag is ridiculously noticeable.
@@jamesfpianist1168I just got my wheels back for my power series 3.0 and I went with the flip flop sealed bearing Mohawks and my buddy put this freewheel on mine to… first day having them back and need a few more days to finish the bike so haven’t tried it but damn it feels tight lol. I like the idea of the proper engagement but worried about that drag a little.. def sounds like it’s going to scream lol
I know this is an older video now, but could you tell me the threading size and pitch on each side of that Throne wheel? I tried to reach out to Throne, but they didn't have time for me I suppose. It seems to me that their flip flop hub has standard ISO threading on both sides., rather than the fixed gear side being M30. Does a standard ISO threaded freewheel in 15 tooth exist? TIA
You can put a 16t freewheel or large on either size. The fixed sized is a standard fixed threading. You can not put a 15t freewheel on or smaller because you need a flip flop hub not a fixed hub.
Man if you still have that free bicycle please bless me I just got mine stolen outside my house left it for two minutes and it was gone so please if you can bless me with that bike the video was good them freewheels are pretty loud nice for a upgrade
@@Stackedbmx thank you for the answer. What does the second set of teeth for if you don't mind me asking again ? Sorry I'm sorta new to nicer bike stuff and have never seen this before.

16 would feel no difference really but 17t should be a noticeable difference, I went from a 33t to a 36t on my cranks and felt a very noticeable difference so 2-3 teeth is decent pedal feel
I like the demonstration of less play.

Get them both and check them out in person

Try profile elites if you want best of both worlds
Still has a ton of drag after a lot of riding. The engagement is excellent and is a loud freewheel. I definitely don't miss the Shimano freewheel.

I run these on my single speed road bikes religiously. The sound is so satisfying and, folks hear me from a mile away.
Nice review.
Did you add additional spacer to fit? May i know ur single speed road bike? Mine is fuji declaration
i like how loud the free wheel is
I want it and I JUST threw a White Industries ENO Trials 18T on my bike last week!! Couldn’t find a loud and tight 16 available anywhere

You have to watch your bike at all times because someone else may want it more
Need to get one of these!
Why is there teeth on both sides of those rims ?
it has a throne fixed hub and has a fixed cog and freewheel

Coming from a 15T on my big ripper.
Between a 16 & 17 how big of a difference would each of those feel when riding /peddling ?

1 tooth on the back equals something like 3 on the front so every jump on the freewheel should be pretty noticeable
