A common issue of structured believe systems is that old traditions can easily become outdated as historical origins are hard to shake off which leads to a far greater struggles to accept progress than secular systems as they do not require the historical traditions. As an example, creating a new state is far easier than trying to establish a new religion.

I come from Hispanic people of Mexico with a history of Spanish heritage. Many of them have earned well-being throughout their lives and are proud of their ancestors. It pains me that the Mexican educational system tries to teach the false lies that the English Protestants of the 17th century forged to divide us. I did my own studies into the rich history and prayer and found strengthened faith in The Lord. I too thank the old Spaniards for bringing Catholic Christianity to the New World. Old Occitan is, well, an old language, so many of the features carry down into Castilian and Italian as they share common ancestors. Castilian and Italian are respectively only 20% and 12% divergent from Latin, and Old Occitan was probably between 8-15% divergent. The closest languages today to Old Occitan are Gascon, Occitan and Catalan. I am trying to learn Occitan.
@@michalis7023 Gasconha. It's not that difficult. I learned it at Mass and in middle school, and a lot singing in town fairs. Since I studied History in college, I read a lot in occitan. Best way to learn it is singing. You can for example listen to Nadau (folk gascon music) or Boisson Divine (folk metal gascon music) if interested.
