    Interesting that a full service site is first come first served. Here in AB Canada, most places have to be booked in advance. Looks like a pretty private and well brushed site.

    Up here in Michigan even the state park the prices have went up $38 just last week

    Love your campsite reviews, but really would like to see each site with site #s.

      Hey, thanks for watching. I appreciate the feedback. There is a channel that does that. It's called campsite photos (I think). My approach is more a good overview of the campground and some oral history of the park and area. I have started pulling into an empty site to show what they look like though. Thanks again and I hope you keep watching. Be blessed!

    Do they have electric and water? My daddy is having a fit to go camping there But I honestly have to have power and water at my age and I'm disabled

    • @eatingoodinthewoods
      @eatingoodinthewoods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and no. There are 2 sites with electric and water but they are first come first served. If you live in the area it shouldn't be too difficult. If hookups are a camping necessity, I'd suggest Davidson River campground in Brevard. I have a video for that one too. Hope this helps☺️

      I suppose it depends on what you're used to. I thought they were spacious enough. Some spots were tight. It's a shame the websites don't say how much space between sites. The maps can be a little deceiving. Thanks for watching

    been camping here for 30 years, every year past several. 22d is our spot, but, if you continue up the mountain, there used to be free camping spots along the left side of the road, with no amenities of course, which I have enjoyed as well. lovely and quiet, very peaceful as everyone respects nature who camps here (for the most part).

    • @eatingoodinthewoods
      @eatingoodinthewoods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh I do enjoy a dispersed campsite. Thanks for the info. I may head back up there and look for those spots!

    • @TheLordbal
      @TheLordbal 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eatingoodinthewoods they were awesome spots, directly off the dirt road on the left going up the mountain, little creek running right next to a good bit of em, good for crawdads. and very secluded,, aside from the road,, which is no big deal as the "sites" are below and down from the road, and are quite a bit away from eachother. just beware of bears, they are definitely up there.
