Leigh Ann needs to move closer to her Mom too so we can get more fam vlogs I lost my mom to cancer and our families are very similar therefore it's a familiar feeling when she vlogs those special moments.

As someone who has only crocheted two baby blankets before moving onto smaller projects as baby gifts, I can definitely say, grandma spent a lot of time on those.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of you on the safe arrival of your newest family member, what a Blessing!!! It will be your turn before you know it!! When you and your Mama were looking thru the Afghan's made by your grandma and treasured by your Mama enough to hold on to them for future generations...it just turned my heart to mush. My Momma's Momma was the Afghan maker in our family. I still have and treasure the one she made for me 51yrs ago, along with the ones for my own children 29, 31yrs ago. When Nana passed the torch was passed to my Momma, who has made one for each of my 3 grandbabies. I don't have the talent for Crochet, but I have hand stitched twin sized Quilts for each of my grandbabies from scraps of all their favored baby Blankets or "softies" as they call them. God Bless

I remember when my brothers baby was born, I burst into tears when I got to hold her! Such a beautiful moment! She cuddled up to me and slept on my chest, and ever since then I was the only one she would sleep on!

I know how you feel, I felt the same when my sister’s first daughter was born. They brought her out before (baby) was even cleaned. She was perfect.

Can totally relate to the difference when it's your sister's baby! My sister had her first in September (he's 8 months old now) and the connection is real. If it's your biological sister, you see pieces of your sister in that baby, pieces of your parents... Even just pieces of their personality from growing up together. It is so fun! I love all of my nephews on both sides, but it's definitely special when it's your sister's babe. Congratulations to your family!!

I completely get that bond you feel with your nephew. I don’t have kids but I was very much involved in helping raise my nieces and nephew since I was a teenager. I love them all as if they were my own.

I was blessed to be in the room while both my nephew and niece were born and it was the most amazing experience of my entire life. Even over my own kids, as it’s entirely different being the one actually in labor. I am always thinking of your parents watching these videos and thinking about how ECSTATIC they must be to have a brand new grand baby and one on the way! My cousin and I are one month apart and it was such a great experience growing up together. God bless you and your wonderful family! ❤️
My only sister who is 4 years older than me had her twin babies I was SHOCKED with the immediate connection and love I had for them. I was a nanny for 6 years to a family of 5 kids and I cared and loved them while I was in their life but man holding my sisters babies I just felt a whole new level of love and protection over them. They are having their 2nd bday next month and I still love those kids like they were my own. I swear I don’t understand how I will love my own kids even more than I love them.

Chicken Divan was the first dish I made for my husband. So yummy! And I got that cookbook for my wedding in 1992! It really is great. Thankfully they removed the chicken jello monstrosity!
