Swimming With Manatees at Crystal River

We took some time during our trip to the Space Coast of Florida to visit Crystal River to swim with Manatees. It was so relaxing to spend time in the company of these gentle and curious animal. We booked an early start time (07:00hrs) and the benefit was far fewer people in the water.
The tour guides (link below) briefed us on how to behave and the practice of Passive Observation. The Manatees were much less passive in their observation of us! Thanks to Captain John and First Mate Ray for looking after us and making our visit so enjoyable. Wetsuits and all equipment provided and we found the water to be a reasonable temperature.
