Never close the door after any wash, but every now & again use some, soda crystals cheaper than a bag of chips, in a white wash which is a bit hotter than the colours & thís will help to keep it clean & not smelly. ✌️☘️🇮🇪
Normally it’s too much wash detergent in the machine that makes the rubber seal around the drum gunk up. Also not all washing liquid can go into a ball ( still plenty of makes go into the draw ) and that makes it smell. I find putting one or two dishwasher tablets on a hot was or your machines auto clean mode
Smelly washing M/C's... the price we pay for 30 Celsius washing cycles. Does your machine not have a drum clean cycle? (90 Celsius with a fast drum agitation, machine is odourless after that cleaning cycle, thanks Bosch!)
For my washing machine the only thing that can be done is to keep it from leaving bacteria on everything is to do an empty run at 90' every other week with a capful of bleach, then another run at 90' with soda crystals. I'm stuck with a second hand Bosch Classix 1400 from my brothers girlfriends gran, if only being disabled got me as much money as the people who fulfil their natural biological imperative, hell if I could have kids i'd pop one out just for the new washing machine.
Our Creda had a 95° setting that got my socks 🧦 and undershirts whiter than I’ve ever seen! It’s too bad that that their quality was crap! I was always removing the lid and spraying electrical cleaner on the motor’s brushes.
A Not-Point washing machine... you poor plumber you. No wonder the pump filter was all grimy and it stank. Should have paid more attention down that Job Centre and got yourself a real career eh. Every 4th or 5th run should be a boil wash and powders not liquids are better.
