I've done the work to tag responses from hundreds of users for a question but I can't figure out how to use those tags to generate a chart. What is the point of tags if you can't use them to filter and categorize your data?

How can I compare the answer of the generations?
I make a question "which year were you born in?" "write the year in the box"
And now I want to categorize the answer of people who are born in
    1. 1940-1960
    2. 1961-1980
    3.1980-1996
    4.1997-now
    How do i do this?

what I would like to know is how this company got my name, phone no, my address, and my email and more importantly why? Could it have anything to do with one of the board of directors being high up the food chain at Facebook? Why is this American company contacting me in Australia asking extremely private questions unsolicited? Is this legal? If anyone can help answer my questions pls do as I cannot get a response from them. thanks

Is the company survey anonymous and private? Can employers identify the individual responses?
