What a beautiful waterfall. Thank you for being responsible and not taking that hike just for the footage (the risky type of thing many TH-camrs seem to do.)
Just discovered you today. As newlyweds my sweetie attended WSU in Pullman. I LOVE the Palouse! A couple of family members attended U of Idaho in Moscow ID. We gotta check out the Palouse again.
Used to work at this park/Lyons ferry. It was a very cool job can honestly say it was the best view I’ve ever had from a lawn mower. Also, fun fact, talked to a guy who had to dive the water under the falls for search and rescue. According to the guy, boulders the size of cars just tumble around down their.
I grew up in Spokane and lived there for 18 years and still go back home and have never been here either! I had the same thoughts about “my hometown being boring” and as I’ve grown up I realize it’s so not true! I live in Bend, OR now but still go home and need to explore more there since I don’t think I took advantage when I was younger. Thanks for sharing Washington so not everything assumes it’s like the west side!
I love winter hiking. New to washington, I'm from Wisconsin. The winter in spokane is so mild compared to what I'm used to and I'm really enjoying exploring this beautiful state. If you haven't you should hike bowl and pitcher at riverside state park. You can walk the centennial for and easy day, or take one of the MANY other trails, I really like the 25 trail!
I went to school in the Palouse area and am from Eastern Washington...so nice to see this area get its moment in the spotlight! I got to Palouse falls every spring. Thank you!!
The Palouse is one of my favorite areas; I think it is so beautiful! I went to WSU so it holds a special place for me. I only finally went to Palouse Falls last summer - its a trek but its definitely worth visiting!
I always love the way you edit your travel videos. You are the only travel vlogger that I follow because I have been subscribed to you for years before you became a travel vlogger.
Washington girl here too. Raised on west side of the Cascades and finally made a trip to the fall a little over a year ago. Gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing!
I was literally just explaining to my partner how uninspired I feel during winter time here in Pittsburgh... We have the same thing here - couple of days of snow, and then grey nothingness and everything is dead... Funny how I just had this conversation and you post a video saying the same thing! Good to know its not just me being "lazy" or "depressing"
I love these kind of videos and all the videos you make! I live in Vancouver BC and haven't explored Washington as much as I should.... Seattle mostly... So keep these coming! I can go explore once the borders open back up!
I’ve never been to Washington and wouldn’t even know what to see if I ever visited. Thank you for posting these beautiful videos so I have some things to add to my bucket list!
I found your Palouse Falls video very informative. You addressed interesting key questions new visitors would ask. A drone footage would be nice. But your information was much more valuable. Thanks.
During the summer you can go down and hike trails and get behind the falls. I did that this past summer. It’s definitely not a marked path but just to go down to the bottom of the falls is ok just a simple downhill but the trail up the falls is scary if you go all the way up
Aloha Allison. I’m originally from Hawaii and now living in Washington state for several years. Many locals say the same thing: bored of this place. There is so much to see, so much hiking and outdoor recreation in this state! Why I also snowboard and ski: there are so many ski resorts, especially Mount Baker which has the world record snow fall in the U.S.! I’ve traveled the world and do think our state is gorgeous. Maybe do some content hiking our many trails (when you come back to visit, now that you are in Austin :) Loving your content. Thank you for sharing..
I love your channel. It has inspired me to take photography more seriously and to explore my area. I grew up here as well. I live on the east side of WA in Richland and have always felt the same way about it being boring over here. But there is a lot of beauty to it that most people don't know about. Thank you for showing it. And THANK YOU for not hiking that trail. I used to be a Franklin County dispatcher and Palouse was in our jurisdiction. I remember having to call ropes teams and life flight helicopters for people injured and stuck at the bottom every weekend in the summer months. People have died on that trail. :(
Thank you! And wow, I didn't realize there were SO many rescues happening on that trail. It makes sense though with the way the path looks. Really glad I didn't attempt it now!
Allison, I’ve been mostly indoors for the soon-to-be year come March. I have slipped out a few times, but only to Tahoe (from my house to Tahoe house). Except for that drive, I haven’t seen much (granted the drive to Tahoe is beautiful). I appreciate your videos because they are exquisite! Long ago and a far, far, far back in time, I lived in Spokane. So, to see what Eastern Washington looks like today, helps me remember back then. I do understand a creative block, but honestly, you could shoot a tree in your backyard and I would be happy. Being outside at all has become a luxury.
I used to drive through Washtucna on the way to college so I've been there a few times! It's so pretty! I haven't been in a few years and I'm tempted to make a day trip soon.
I was hoping you'd visit Palouse Falls! :) It was one of my background photos for the longest time. It is always so fun to virtually "travel" with you.
Great video! I've only recently come across your channel but love the videos you produce! If you're ever interested in seeing more of Idaho (since you've visited Coeur d'Alene already) I would suggest my hometown of Sandpoint, Idaho just north of Coeur d'Alene. We have a much arger lake, many more, higher mountains, tons of high-mountain lakes that you can only find by hiking, and lots to do on the lake!
I grew up in Spokane and now live in San Francisco and I can confirm that most people not from Washington think the entire state is like Seattle. Thank you for showing the beauty of Eastern WA 😊
I've been on the trail down there and there is a BEAUTIFUL set of short waterfalls on the way to the big one. But I don't blame you for not wanting to do it alone, but you should definitely go back see those. Really pretty.
Now that I've moved out of state I constantly have this conversation ALL THE TIME! "your from Washington? oh its so rainy there!" Nope! not where I'm from. It's amazing how nobody knows that half of Washington is a desert!
An idea for something to show in eastern WA is the dry falls; they dried up in the last ice age and if they were still active would be the largest waterfall in the world. I haven't been able to visit but I always thought it was such a cool fact
Can you send the name or link of the music you have used in the starting of video because it's perfect combination of relaxing music and amazing waterfalls
Amazing - how could you do a video on Palouse Falls and the canyon without talking about the fascinating geology of the area with lava flows of the Columbia River Basalts and the massive ice age floods from the rupture of glacial Lake Missoula? There is so much to visit and stand in awe of o 6:12 on the eastern side of the Cascades
I'm an Eastern Washington native... Not all Eastern Washington is flat like this. Mostly the Tri Cities area/Ritzville... But around Spokane it's mountains every where. And usually super rainy in the Fall and Spring.
You're inspiring me to discover my home area as well :) I never traveled inside my country, but I want to try it now! Maybe I discover something new, a landscape I didn't expect in Germany, I am looking forward. :) thx
Eastern Washington isn't boring. Everything west of Spokane was added to the continent over past 150 million years. You have the flood basalts. You have all the cool features from the Ice Age floods and glaciers! look at Nick Zentner / CWU videos.
Don't go Jason waterfalls.
So happy to see another travel video from you!!!!!!
So funny! My niece used to sing that lyric as a toddler.
What a beautiful waterfall. Thank you for being responsible and not taking that hike just for the footage (the risky type of thing many TH-camrs seem to do.)

I want so see a “gear up”-video for summer hikes.
"Donated for public enjoyment" why is this sentence not common, I love the idea! 🐛 🦋
I wish these videos were longer, they’re so beautifully shot and edited.
i have no idea why palouse falls isn't more popular!! that waterfall in those green canyons is breathtaking!
I grew up in Spokane and lived there for 18 years and still go back home and have never been here either! That place where are you standing is absolutely beautiful.... I really wanna see it by one day in future ❤️👍
So not boring. Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to seeing more.
The Palouse is one of my favorite areas; I think it is so beautiful! I went to WSU so it holds a special place for me. I only finally went to Palouse Falls last summer - its a trek but its definitely worth visiting!

Beautiful waterfall thank you Allison for sharing❤
Living in Alaska - winter is my favorite time of year. What little light that we do have is magic. Thanks for sharing the falls. Love your videos!
This is on my bucket list
For this summer. Living in Washington all my life I can’t believe I only heard it this place 2 years ago..🌸
Washington girl here too. Raised on west side of the Cascades and finally made a trip to the fall a little over a year ago. Gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing!
Love seeing you travel and enjoying time by yourself. It always motivates me and makes it seem possible for me to do this one day!

Yep. January through March is the worst!
Just went yesterday and it was epic. The marmots are a plus too. We got a great photo of a marmot chilling while watching the waterfall.
This is on my list too. Born in eastern Washington and raised south of Seattle. Never been but it looks beautiful. Great video
Your videos have changed my perception of Washington State....now I cant wait to visit it one day and see for myself.
I love waterfalls. They are very pretty. I even love the canyon
I love that you explore and give attention to lesser-known areas! It truly inspires me and brings a sense of awe to my day :) Keep up the great work!
I love these kind of videos and all the videos you make! I live in Vancouver BC and haven't explored Washington as much as I should.... Seattle mostly... So keep these coming! I can go explore once the borders open back up!
Thanks! I can't wait to head up your way when the borders open. There's so much in BC I want to see!
I live in Spokane and def want to make a trip to Palouse this year! Thank you for posting!
I’ve never been to Washington and wouldn’t even know what to see if I ever visited.
Thank you for posting these beautiful videos so I have some things to add to my bucket list!
Excellent video, that walk looks cool
Recently moved to Washington and this is a pretty close drive. Will definitely be going here. Thanks for the inspiration!
I found your Palouse Falls video very informative. You addressed interesting key questions new visitors would ask. A drone footage would be nice. But your information was much more valuable. Thanks.
I fall in love your videos. And the voice and cinematography is excellent ❤ from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
This is a hidden gem! You do a great job highlighting the diversity of Washington. We had a chance to visit this summer and can't wait to go back! 👍
Love this video! Thanks for taking us along 😊 I also LOVE the thumbnail. So pretty.

not boring at all! I loved it ♥
I didn’t know about Washington’s different climates! Thanks for sharing
Wow, this makes me want to go to Washington so bad! Absolutely gorgeous scenery!!!
You should do a video on renting snowshoes and snowshoeing at Mount Rainer NP, or hiking to Heather lake right now.
I used to drive through Washtucna on the way to college so I've been there a few times! It's so pretty! I haven't been in a few years and I'm tempted to make a day trip soon.

I've really enjoyed your videos the last few days as a new follower. Keep it up! By the way I'm from Oregon!
Really enjoyed your video, I've wanted to do this hike for years too but haven't made it up there yet! Thanks for sharing!!
I used to live in Issaquah and Moses Lake. Completely different. Now I am in Central Oregon. Have a feeling you would like the Bend area.
Native Washington photographers UNITE!!!
Theres nothing like exploring in your own backyard 😉🏞
I love this! I'm a Washington native and have never checked the palouse out! It's definitely on my list!
might want to check out Nick Zentner's videos. He is a Professor at CWU.
Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing your journey!
I had NO idea part of Washington state looked like that!!! See...you are showing and teaching us : ) I always want to learn! Thank you.
Really beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

I've never even heard of this?! Definitely need to check it out. Thanks!
When I went to WSU I never visited the falls, maybe I should do a Tour of Washington road trip!
It's really beautiful places
So happy you made it to Palouse Falls! Missing the PNW 💙
Love Palouse Falls I try and get out there at least once a year; a great place for Milkyway photography!
Can you send the name or link of the music you have used in the starting of video because it's perfect combination of relaxing music and amazing waterfalls
I would really like more video's of you hiking in the forests near Seattle!
Another great video! Keep up the amazing work! You’re the only travel vlogger I watch so you’re doing something right hahah

Beautiful
This is so amazing! I really really loved thid video. This is what I need for my me time. Thanks my friend :)
WA state always amazes me. #PNBlessed.
Yah been wanting to check it out one of these days! Looked like a great day
Be smart, be safe😊
Great video! What gloves were you wearing? They look like they’d be amazing for photography and fine flying in cold weather.
I’ve never been to that area either. So cool to see!
Another great video, Allison! ☺️👍🏻
0:23 what it that mount called that you have for your camera?
Beautiful!!😍
Photo and video doesn't do justice how big and beautiful palouse falls is
I'm an Eastern Washington native... Not all Eastern Washington is flat like this. Mostly the Tri Cities area/Ritzville... But around Spokane it's mountains every where. And usually super rainy in the Fall and Spring.
Thank you, I like your hairstyle.
I love your music! Is that part of Storyblocks’ offerings?
I love this sort of content!
You're inspiring me to discover my home area as well :) I never traveled inside my country, but I want to try it now! Maybe I discover something new, a landscape I didn't expect in Germany, I am looking forward. :) thx
I’m going today for the first time. Cool video
I get SO ANNOYED when people assume I'm from Seattle when I say I'm from Washington. I'm not from Seattle, I'm from the cool part of Washington haha
Nice video! what was the background song you played at 1.30?
I tried seeing it my last trip but it was closed lol. Really beautiful.
Wow. This is so neat
I live near Portland, OR! Let me know if you’re ever in the area. I’m also a videographer and would love to get coffee 😊❤️✨
Love this content. I’ll have to make a trip to see it.
What brand leather gloves are you wearing?
Eastern Washington isn't boring. Everything west of Spokane was added to the continent over past 150 million years.

Oh my goodness! I live in the palouse!!!
Love the gloves! Where are they from?
was about to ask the same thing! ha ha
When you can't travel, it's easy to feel trapped. I'm doing my best to enjoy Sydney's surrounds
Wow this amazing 😉
Actually, thanks for sharing. I had no idea eastern Washington looked like that. I found this interesting.
I need to know where to find those gloves! :)
