    I use Adobe Premiere Pro for most of the editing. I use Adobe Illustrator fr the hand drawn maps and the overlay.
    Thanks for watching.

    Hwy 149 from north from South Fork to Hwy 50 is a great ride. Not near as straight.

    Beautiful trip, I watch it at least once ever two or three month. If we were not so old we might try it. Thank you.

    Looks like you rode right past Skyline Drive in Canon City, too bad, that's an interesting ride to put under your saddle.

    You must have taken this ride early that year. The Royal Gorge Bride and Park burned down that June. I ride and know that route well. I enjoy going for a ride-along on your videos. Keeps me going thru the winter. :) Thanks for posting.

      Hello Vic.
      Actually this video was shot the year before the fire, what a tragedy, but I understand it has been rebuilt as good as ever. I do have to get back that way someday again.
      Thanks for riding along with us on my videos, and thanks for the comment.

    Took my first breath in Canon City a tick over 75 years ago. This part of the world is in my DNA.

    Wow! What a way you downshift on the Yamaha. I think we've probably chatted before but is your motorcycle a 6-gear? Because very often you downshift when you don't really have to do so - meaning you could probably keep going in the same gear. Just saying...

    • @RobertMerz
      @RobertMerz  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My bike is a five speed. When I build my videos I build a soundtrack to match the video tracks, so although I may not have needed to downshift, and probably didn't, but by adding a downshift it adds a little more to the viewing enjoyment for most viewers.

      Yes there are some really spectacular places in Colorado, and there are some areas such as Pagosa Springs, that are just quietly pretty.

      Yes I agreeI, it is one of my favorite states. I did this road in the opposite direction going west to east so I can now see what it's looking like.

      If you find yourself in Poncha Springs around lunchtime, "Tony's" hole in the wall for authentic Mexican food, home cooked by Tony & his family.... out of this world Burrito's smothered in red sauce... LOL.

    Enjoyed your new video as well. I'm looking forward to viewing other addition you may added in the future. I'm courious as to what program you are using to create your videos. I am especially interested in the process used to lay you map route over video near the beginning of the video. I have generally used i Movie (Apple) to producue my videos.
