Losing Duo Cartoonist was possibly one of the biggest blows to the fandom ever. I wish I could have seen what they could have produced for these latest seasons.

I am very saddened the channel was deleted, but am thankful you were able to still showcase it here. It was, and still is my favorite fandom project to have ever been a part of, and good to see archives like this channel still hosting the content it does.

I just remembered this song after being out of the mlp fandom for a good 2 years. I had no idea the channel went private, and I'm so close to crying. I didn't listen to this song a lot but it just gave me chills.

It sounds as if it accompanies a fanfic or an animation of sorts... it really feels like a full fledged story, and a beautiful one at that!

I think The idea behind it was some sort of fan animation about Luna and Celestia when they were younger and attending some kind of magical school. Theres an animatic of celestia and discord I think might be related

Save for the "hooves are banging on the floor" part, this can just as easily be sung by a human, or a ghost, wanting some nighttime fun. Love it!
Man, its such a shame Duo Cartoonist ended up quitting all these great projects they had made together and deleting all of their fantastic songs and animation.
I can understand if them working in the animation industry was taking up much of their free time but for them to basically say out in public (internet in this case) that they wanted to distance themselves from MLP stuff cause they feel the industry says "Its Cringe" is just beyond retarded and not an excuse for them to remove it. Its work, its stuff you've done. Its fantastic masterpieces that show off your skill as an animator regardless of what fandom it comes from. It shows your adaptable to any sort of animation style when you put your heart into it. Just to have that all deleted from your channel just feels like a crime to not only the people who worked alongside you on it (Can't imagine what Emily Kotch (singer) feels) but also to those that loved it and supported you through all those projects.
Maybe I'm looking too deep into, but as a fan of Duo's work, I can't help but express how I feel about their reasons.

This is truly a great song. This song has a very exciting atmosphere that is just perfect to describe Lulu. And destroy all the other headcannons about her childhood. XD
And the art itself is just great for the song itself and the resulting mood.

Do you have more of their other videos? Duo Cartoonist deleted their entire channel. And in the end, for some reason, I did not watch all their videos before.
Or maybe "Choices songs" saved at least if they were all on their channel in the form of video. They just cleaned their Patreon, because of which nothing of their creations can be found there. However, you probably know it yourself.

I'm so happy that I found this again! I didn't remember the title, but I did remember the thumbnail (not that that would get me far). I typed in Starwhirl the Bearded song (because I remembered he was in it briefly), didn't get the right song. Then I tried 'moonbeam mlp song' (because I remembered it was about a party in the middle of the night, and remembered the title was night theme related) and that somehow worked, even though I had to scroll far down to find it.
Edit: small spelling mistake that completely changed the meaning of the sentence for the worse

Duo Cartoonist deleted their entire channel when TH-cam announced they were enforcing COPPA law and rules, which would've hit their channel HARD.

this is like a disny song
Actually its more reminiscent of work by Don Bluth. Their animation style was more in depth and they paid it alot more attention than anything Disney ever did. Of course I'm biased due to the fact that Bluth actually animated one of my all time favorite movies. The secret of nimh lol
