I have many bikes and this one is the best motorcycle ever and my favorite. Hard to find a clean example like this one. If you never tried them your missing out. Only bike that puts a smile on my face.

I own a 1984 virago "gold edition"...its maroon and gold...the original owner died on it back in 1994...and was put into storage....and was given to me here in 2023....didnt have any damage at all except one small ding on the tank...i brought it back to life..and i ride it every day! And addded it to my collection of other bikes.

Friend of mine owned one of these when they first came out. I rode is several times and it was an excellent bike. I sure wish Yamaha would drop all of that Bolt line and other crap and go back to the Virago lines. They are some of the best and classiest bikes ever made.

All 1000/1100 had gold trim between 84-88. This bike is a rare bird since it is a US model with black instuments only found on 1984 and 1985 bikes. Good to see an original that hasn't been tampered with.
