I was one of the lucky few who had an older brother who was a comic/anime/manga fan. I was able to see the import vhs episodes with english subtitles only months after they were airing in japan. Im 34 now. At 7 years old, I was so obsessed with DBZ that I had the theme music recorded on audio cassette (yep, thats right), and I would listen to it non stop. This and the Guyver OVA theme are the best anime theme music ever. American cartoon themes are shameful by comparison
