Though I think he’s just that kind of guy to do everything, so again, my love for him in HIMYM stops me from judging him too harshly from that - and the over-the-top style of comedy, which Neil’s excelled at before, could’ve worked in that movie if things had just gone a bit differently, imo. No hate to, or genuine fear for, anyone that worked on that film.

The movie theater employees had to clean that shit up between each showing of the movie. Every time I see this movie I think of the poor employees who had to wipe up smurf shit every couple of hours
The Smurfs were like the Chipmunks and Jem and the Holograms. They weren’t anything particularly interesting, but they were their own charming little entity. They never tried to be the next big thing, and that’s honestly where they belong.
