I own both the medium MCM Liz in Red and Aren in the limited edition Checkerboard totes, the Gucci leather Matelasse in black and the new Emblem totes, and I own 3 LV NFs in Daimer Ebene, Daimer Azur, and in Mono. To throw in I own 3 of the Telfar totes in small and medium in clear, lavender, and grape. In addition, I own the Goyard St Louis tote in GM. Lastly, I own the Longchamp Le Pilage totes in large, medium, small, xtra small, and cosmetic pouch. Each bag although comparable to each other has their own unique qualities. I do not feel the Gucci tote is similar to the MCM Liz because you can't cinch the sides so the NF would be the best comparison to the MCM bag. The Gucci is comparable to the Goyard St Louis and MCM Aren. Also, you can use protectant on the vachetta to protect the handles and help them patina evenly. Each tote bag shares a purpose in my collection but my fav would be the LV or Gucci followed by the MCM 👛

I want a summer tote and I’m trying to decide between the Gucci Beige tote or the MCM Beige tote. I initially wanted the neverfull in Azur but the vachetta would scare me.
As much as I love my LV neverfull it’s not the best value. The only does the leather need to be babied but with the azur canvas you also have to worry about color transfer.
I have the exact NF MM bag . The oil from our skin will make the straps darker it can’t be helped. Now I just got a white MCM bag for the summer I really like it. So in comparison both bags are a must 😂. Not a fan of that Gucci one.

Coach can't be compared to MCM in my opinion and I own both. The Coach logo is seen way more than MCM. Coach makes good quality bags at prices that fit into most people's budget but MCM creates luxury bags that are durable and long lasting. I think MCM looks way better than Coach because I see everyone with Coach because it's cheap. I prefer more exclusive brands like MCM because I don't see it as often as Coach, Kate Spade, or Michael Kors.

MCM is the most durable I have mine since 2107 still looks brand new both black and beige

The MM is the perfect size to me, but if you already have two LV canvas maybe try the leather version or go with a different fashion house.

I don't know about that. MCM is suffering from the same reduction in quality as LV. I think all 3 bags are durable if you take care of them.
I like the gucci and LV....never liked the mcm brand it always looked tacky in my opinion..I would chose coach any day over mcm
I like that MCM is more affordable and isn’t as popular, but I agree that there logo/monogram isn’t subtle. The brand isn’t for everyone.
