That's a great question & I'd say it's definitely recommended to create separate Pinterest accounts for each niche, in the sense of treating each Pinterest niched-down account like a business. I'd also have separate corresponding 'from' emails in GetResponse and landing pages in the same way

Thank you Justin for this information. I noticed in the video that the emails from Get Response is going to your email list. Are you sending these emails to everyone on your list, or to the people who did not purchase the product? Is there a funnel involved that you use to send the email swipes only to the people that did not purchase?
My pleasure & great question! We don’t have visibility over who purchased unfortunately - only the vendor would have these analytics. This does mean that we may email those who have already purchased. One way to mitigate this is to retrieve a similar affiliate link for another product in the same niche to include in the email as your affiliate link.
In GetResponse we have visibility over who ‘clicks’ onto the CTA and my email sequence is usually set up so that those who did click (and may hav purchased already) are sent an email with a different product in the same niche, and for the remainder who didn’t open or click on the email, are sent an email containing the same product :)

-Ideally the website for the business account should be an actual website containing different backlinks inside it, linking to different affiliate sales pages etc inside it instead of a landing page containing the selection of products. The individual pins should link to separate landing pages though & promote only 1 product per landing page in my opinion, to simplify the user experience
-I think it depends on the type of product, but I think as long as you're promoting an evergreen product that you're able to drive traffic to, there's no need to switch up the products on the same board. Ideally each board should be extremely niched down - for example it probs wouldn't make sense to promote other products in the smoothie niche, other than the smoothie product being promoted on that smoothie diet board (since it's so niched down, there probably aren't even many other related products that exist in the smoothie diet niche)
Hmmm...I have 2 questions:
1. Why don't you just put direct affiliate URL (with link shortener) in pinterest pin? Potential customer can just go straight to the affiliate page and you get commission faster.
2. Isn't by optin them to email list will reduce your conversion? What if the email goes to Promotion tab and not Primary inbox?

1. While this is true, I find this doesn't result in as many conversions & relies on a very specific type of 'impulsive' buyer. The overwhelming majority of visitors to the direct affiliate sales page won't purchase the product. By collecting leads and following up with an email, the lead would already be somewhat familiar with the product and have a higher propensity to purchase. Not only is buyer intent higher at this point resulting in more conversions, but you're also able to maximise the LTV (Lifetime Value) of the lead by nurturing a medium to long-term b2c relationship, allowing us to cross-promote other, related products in the same niche over a (potentially long) period of time (until they unsubscribe from receiving emails)
2. This is a good point and although being gmail-specific only (around 30% of email recipients which is still significant), the promo tab isn't necessarily a dealbreaker for driving conversions. Although it is preferable to avoid this and there are best practices that can be implemented to avoid your email landing in the gmail promotion tab which is a whole other topic (involves a range of factors such as avoiding spam-trigger words, personalising email content, warming up your email account, not sending email blasts etc). From my perspective, the benefits mentioned in point 1 far outweigh the all of this though
Regarding the emails, I don't suppose it really matters, but won't that send the buy reminder to the people who did buy as well as those that didn't?

Thanks Clara :) creating boards on Pinterest is a way to organise related sets of pins - as you mentioned it is a way to organise pins for different niches, but for affiliate marketing they’d be the ‘sub niches’. For example one board for Keto recipes, one for Keto dieting tips, Keto benefits etc
