Love it. What I also love is the comment ‘Up-To-You’. Very Thailand. And I love that Don KEEPS saying these tricks cost pennies. Don lives in Thailand… EVERYTHING costs pennies. Another great upload Don.
perhaps cutting a little extra plastic away around the seam (but not the corresponding strip of label) and then having the magnets stuck to the bottom of the circular plugs (rather than embedded in them), you could make there be less friction for the "blade" to slide in and out and, for the same reason improve the alignment between top and bottom, which would then be touching only at the surfaces of the magnet (or the paper covering them) rather than across the entire seam. Less friction=less force preventing them from aligning.
I would use 100% silicone caulking as the glue. You can buy it clear and it will seal it reasonably well and be water proof. Just my 2cents. It's a good trick. Great job as usual!
Well done, as always. 2 questions if I may... 1st, what do you use for decorating your props and where do you recommend getting said material? 2nd, I am a practicing magician. Just a hobby right now, but I hope to eventually gain at least some income from it. If and when I do and I decide to use some of the gimmicks learned from your channel, may I mention your name to give you credit?
I have a very good local stationery shop that supplies all my decorative finishes. I don't have any objections to using my name but none of the gimmicks I make are my ideas. I beg borrow and steal, the same as everyone.
Good Don one. Do you think that it would work if you cut the bottle on the bottom edge of the label? It might eliminate the need to line the bottle up so perfect at the end. You would need to use a piece of black plastic to hold the Coke in the bottom half because it would be seen.
Yes. You're 100% right. It's better and easier to blend or fade the cut at the below edge of the label and the rest of the bottle. Cutting the middle of the label will make it look funny, especially the letters on the label. According to your idea, you already upgraded this trick.
Perhaps consider removing the label before cutting, then reattach once everything is assembled - or using a paper-based reproduction. That way the label is whole until the 'blade' is inserted, adding to the illusion. Spare labels would allow for resetting.
Of all these tricks,I found this about $40.Usually it is over $100 easy. This is better professionally made.I have thousands of tricks.Alot donated by retired magicians. But I do love the home made look of some tricks. They look more innocent or if fishy I still get credit for something not my invention.
1:46 You said, "you'll see there's no trickery." Says the man doing a magic "trick." Sorry, I just had to say it. I might have to make this joke against myself when I'm preforming. I'd like to do this one sooner or later.
Lovely magic well presented. Thank you so much to you and your loving family members. 🙏🇮🇳🚩

@@letsmakemagic8233 understandable. Thank you regardless.

I think that would create more problems, middle of the label is easier.
