Infinite Warfare had one of the BEST CoD campaigns period. Also the sci-fi stuff was pretty neat, it just came at a time where it was too saturated and people were sick of futuristic CoDs. Had they released the game under a title other than CoD, it would have faredmuch better. The game didn't deserve all the hate it got.
@@Butter_Warrior99I would’ve loved a good ending with Reyes making it back with the crew before they destroyed the shipyard, that way salter didn’t need to witness seeing/ hearing Reyes die.
@@roninstormYTthis campaign is actually ass… It started out really good but it’s like the writers got to a certain point and didn’t know wtf to do so they threw shit at the wall and went with what stuck… Good guys went from constantly getting their ass kicked to all of a sudden winning in one mission? Huh? All that build up for some half ass ending? I’m actually tight… this campaign could’ve been so much more bad ass…
"I understand the conflict, Captain. I'm ready. I promise." It's not often that a robot can elicit an emotion from me, but Ethan is one of the rare few.
Simple Good vs Evil story loaded with the theme of sacrifice and run all the way to the finish line with absolute certainty. Infinite Warfare is proof that telling a simple story in a AAA title can still work if you are 200% serious & sincere about doing it.
Also, being able to defeat the main villain but not being the end of the story is not something many games do. The only other thing I can think of is Halo 3, but even then, they just traded "one villain for another"
42:54 I dont usually point out certain parts to compliment. But this moment here is the *best* moment in the whole COD franchise imo. A complete moment of humbleness and mutual admission and understanding. Nick knows Salter isnt really at fault for omars death, and despite how upset everyone is. He immediately reconciles with Salter and inadvertently says it isnt really her fault. As well as recogonzing that HE was wrong. He shouldnt have risked his life and everyone elses for two dead men, and he understands this. So he gives salter the green light to do whatever it takes. It was such a genuine moment of tension easing that it took my breath away when I saw it for the first time.
To this day I find it so disrespectful Ethan’s name isn’t on the memorial. He was more than just a robot. Mans was so clutch & beyond instrumental in them making it to the end. 😒
Infinite Warfare and MW2019 share a common theme in their second mission. Both Reyes and Gaz face a huge threat, with terrorism as its methods, and stopped by the Rules of Engagement until it was too late.
A good illustration of the brutal fact that if you aren't willing to sacrifice, you can't win a war. Nothing is ever free, and victory is the most expensive thing of all.

too bad that he had sacrificed himself in the end but it could’ve been prevented for sure, I wish we got a Reyes tribute too and some type of good ending and not just witness the loss of reyes
I may be biased, but I've always loved near future space combat of this sort. The single player was REALLY good on it's own. I played it when it released and played it over and over when I was QA testing the Xbox series consoles. It made me appreciate the campaign more and more. It could've been more but it was good enough to stand on it's own. As for the MP, jeez, that was a mess. Also, Ethan was the best robot in video game history, next to BT from Titanfall 2
I will be pleased if microsoft retcon Halo(the past of course before the main timeline)and adding current CoD's timeline especially Infinite Warfare to their core canon, because UNSA becoming UNSC is make so much sense and making this as the beginning of human interplanetary colonization.
Ethan is one of the best video game robot companions in history. His loyalty plus his humor is great. He's on par (For me at least) with BT in Titanfall 2
And what's funny, he isn't used that much in the story, like Kit Harington. Conor's last appearance (as an enemy) is in a side mission in the campaign and killed him, but Conor also portrays "Michael Fillion", the twin brother of Bradley (That Conor mostly is featured as) but is shown during the pre-mission setup on Mars before the final assault on the SDF Ship yard but ultimately dies at the end. Brothers who die fighting for different beliefs
Im watching all cod campaigns as a movie going through all of them i have to say this was the shities game ive ever played in cod franchise and i hope they never make one like this again watching it without all the gameplay is nice tho i have to be honest Edit: i do like the robot as well its funny😂😂
And here's the type of kid (most likely 12) who's only subscribed to certain people just so they can dislike their videos and comment the dumbest things they can think of as soon as they release.

Looking back at it, Infinite Warfare wasn't so bad. Amazing campaign.
yea man underaited campaign people just hate too hate story was good but multiplayer was bad .
@@roninstormYT Agreed the MP was ass, but the SP is one of the best they've made in the last decade.
It had great characterization for the crew. Idea for the story was intriguing, but the execution felt shallow.

"Don't call me sir, I work for a living!". Haha, seriously real military jargon in this game, and I heard it a lot in the Navy. Well done.
well the unsa is basically the navy of the future, but with destroyers and ships and not boats

Plot twist: CoD Infinite Warfare takes place in the Halo universe. Pre UNSC. The Pelican is the common denominator.
That is a really kick ass idea
There was a Martian conflict in the halo lore
To this day I find it so disrespectful Ethan’s name isn’t on the memorial. He was more than just a robot. Mans was so clutch & beyond instrumental in them making it to the end. 😒
But in terms of the military he was equipment, no different to a jeep or a jet. It’s absolute BS, but that’s the explanation

The Titan opening sequence has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in a video game.
I just wish there was a way to save the 4 UNSA guys

33:50 MY FAVORITE MOMENT FROM THIS GAME 😔

Omar holding an air weapon, Call of Duty at its finest
The crash on mars has got to me my personal favorite scene in any CoD game.
Would be epic to live on an SDF battleship
Except when Reyes, E3N, & company come calling.

Amazing move. Great work putting this together. Never played the game, but I missed out on a great game it seems.
No no, why you didn't include Olympus first appearance jump?
Captain Reyes has horrible luck with Jackals

Years from Now people will say this is the Greatest COD Ever Made…
Kit Harrington did a great job as Koch
Just recently I realised Jon Snow( Kit Harrington) is the main villain for the most part of this game
with Conor McGregor as his second in command
Conor cmgreagor right at the beginning
