Very creative idea! Just curious, if you have multiple wooden skewers, did you try setting up something so that you could poke the skewer in something so that the chocolate could harden sitting on top of the skewer? Is the cake too heavy so it just slides down the skewer? I think if this works it would help getting a perfectly round shape without the flat bottom and saves from having to trim it. Also, I think it might be easier to decorate that way. Just a thought.
@@tamoshanter6268 hi, yes I actually considered that but didn’t have time to rig something but totally agree if I had something to maintain the complete round shape that would have been amazing! I also wanted to keep it simple for the video if anyone wanted to try it at home but Perhaps I will try again and show the process of how to rig something up :)
