Было бы скучно, если бы все были только одинаковые на планете. Поэтому не очень понимаю желание сильно это видоизменить.

Yeah,south asian are kindda obsessed with fair skin. Because of society. Brown=ugly Thats the type of mentality. But new generation is changing and loving themselves more. Like me. I am a brown girl and i love it.i try not to look fairer. Probably i will get married just a little bit of lipstick and eyeliner. Just to annoy the guest
Mac foundation also turns dark by several shades after it dries so perhaps that is also a reason. When it is freshly applied it looks quite light but it sets a lot darker

I have seen ladies with brown body and a greyish white face at weddings. Going a little bit light doesn't matter so much. Just like people in colder places like to fake a tan. As long as it doesn't look ott I don't have a problem.✌️
Total looks... She's not look whiter because it's blending to her arms and hands...and some make up artist asking the client if acidic...Why? It's make effect to the foundation. So if the client is acidic they put whiter foundation because in an hour the foundation going to darker. And most of Indian Wedding will be having a long hours of program so it's normal to wearing heavy make up... Over all she's beautiful... Make up is a beautiful tool. It can enhance and highlight our features. But I find it pretty repulsive that these days make up is being used to alter the feature of our face to such an extent that it loses its character and originality. Makeup should be used to hide our flaws and having dark skin is not a flaw... you could have rather wrapped her face with a white sheet of plastic instead of dumping 5kg of make up on her. Both would look same.
You're absolutely right but she's doing for her grand day where everyone wants to look great..so it's ok for a day it's not like she's doing it everyday

The whiter the skin the higher on the ladder In India all these actresses use bleaching cremes. In Brazil they use skin bleaching creams as well as in many African and Arab countries Horrible to see
There's nothing sad or horrible about what people prefer for themselves, so long as people feel special, could you not be so judgmental and possibly racist? Just keep an open mind and a generous heart, because it's encouragement that enhances lives, not a woke lecture...
