I`m planning a quick visit to Antwerp on October 29th and I`m like "omg I hope all the flags are there" but I can`t find nothing about this on internet ☹ also... sorry for the bad English and thank you in advance :)
@@heibabu I have to disappoint you there I'm afraid...I have always seen it with a lot (a lot!) of flags but am not sure why there would sometimes be less? I think since It has been under construction for a while now (a few years at least), there is like a fake facade, and maybe now less flags? I am really not sure. You know what I live like 5 minutes away from city hall let me go take a look and maybe snag one of the guides there and ask them :p I'll get back to you !
worked there in the late 90's flying in and out of london city every week. loved the time I had there. want to go the De Vagant again someday. Unfortunately my favourite place, a student bar called De Vettige Swa closed down a long time ago. If anybody from De Swa remembers a British guy going there regularly around 98, I raise a bolleke to you!

Well tested this video today and it is possible to see all this in Antwerp in one day plus some more xP, and has of 3 September 2022 the Cathedral outside is still under renovation but the top is visible now and they are working on the middle part

The historic center of Antwerp is not that big. You can easily walk from the Central Station to the Groenplaats, Grote Markt, het Steen, MAS and the porthouse on foot unless you very are old or disabled. And the metro, bus and train connections are great too.

In January, I'll be in Antwerp for 2 days. Schiphol is messed up right now, so I'm flying to Brussels. It's also an excuse for me to go to Belgium, before I head to lieve Nederland.
I'm from the Netherlands and I'm going to visit Antwerp tomorrow, March 1, 2022 by train and just for one day! Thank you very much for all this useful information that you have presented in a charming way that I am already looking forward to being there and visiting the places you mentioned or at least some of them. Ahhh this would’ve been amazing to see a week ago that I had just one day to spend there 😭, I missed going to the top of the the MAS and that final look of the city through the tunnel. But loved the city, so there’ll definitely be a next time where I can do that ☺️!
Forget it baby - you missed 3/4 of the city..... Plus Cathedral reconstruction.....takes a generation at least 🙂better viit the amazing Museum of Fine Arts in Atnwerp South, or the Mas Museum in Antwerp Norht.....
The real fries 3:40 do you eat in Antwerp at Frituur N°1 at the Hoogstraat and not at Frites Atelier, which is not even close to what a real 'pakske friet' looks and taste like. Sergio Herman, who came up with this upper-level concept has simply ridiculed our Belgian fries with this approach. Regardless from this, I liked the video. Well done.
