Circular motion: Centripetal Force and Acceleration.

In this video we learn about circular motion and derieve the equations for Centripetal Force and Centripetal Acceleration. We find that uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion. The acceleration is a=v^2/r. This is known as Centripetal Acceleration and the force that pulls it towards the centre is called as Centripetal Force. The equation for Centripetal Force is F=m.v^2/r.
We derive both these equations using basic vector manipulation.
