Nope. I love it too. Cornerback is the hardest position in my mind and wide receivers always show up defensive backs, so it's nice to see him to do it for a change.
Was a pleasure to watch this young man for two seasons and lock down other team's No. 1 WR

I make them how I would want to watch them although I do receive the occasional comments crying about the no music. lol The last 40+ videos don't have music, but the ones I made before that have music. Hold on, he did not destroy fuller. Fuller was burning this man left and right. Kizer couldn't make the throw because of Clemson D-line being down his throat. Go watch game film. Fuller had separation for yards to come, kizer just couldn't make the throw.

I'd say 1 reception for 15 yards is winning the battle regardless of D line help or not. If he was open enough, anyone could throw those short routes he was making.

MrDownWithTheSouth It does in the context of who gets picked first. It's relative to your question. Vernon has been to best pure corner at every level of football he's played. National defensive player of the year out of high school and considered the 2nd best player overall at any position. His college accolades and numbers speak for themselves. My point is there are good reasons he was drafted well before Alexander.

Yes pass interference but corner is also one of the hardest positions to play he is good but I would say this is the third best corner in college behind jalen Ramsey and Hargreaves in my opinion

+ JustBombsProductions both of us as Steelers fans, Mackansie and William Jackson III are the only CB I want us to draft this year. Mackensie reminds me of Darrelle Revis. I know I can't be the only one, but I think he is better than Vernon Hargreaves. Vernon is a better overall player, but I think Mackensie is the better CB.
No, Hargreaves is better. Alexander is good but Hargreaves is better. I will admit it is close, but Hargreaves has more experience than alexander
+Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie I just want us to get a CB in the first. lol VH3 does have more experience, but if I had to choose someone to face AJ Green twice a year, I'd pick Alexander. He didn't even allow 30% of the passes thrown his way to be completed. He also didn't allow a touchdown in his collegiate career.

He's a solid CB and the Steelers should definitely pick him if available. But we can agree to disagree although you think I'm "crazy" for having my own opinion.

***** The thing about Apple is that to me he was terrible this past season. That was always my impression when watching him. I went back to watch his film after the season ended and my opinion remained the same. He was hit with too many PIs/holding calls, allowed easy completions and a lot of the incompletions were because of a terrible throw to an open receiver by the QB. He is tall for a CB and does possess speed, but is a liability in the pass and run game. So many missed tackles

He makes a lot of illegal contact downfield and often doesn't turn his head to look for the ball. This wont fly in the NFL. Another thing is that NFL receivers will make the 1 on 1 catches that these college kids aren't making.

Mike Zimmer teaches his corners to bat the ball down and not go for the interceptions. He will fit right in and not allow any touchdowns.
