Sir, most of doubts solved by your answer. Yet I have some doubt.
Does quality of speaker cable affect the speaker performance? Should I use what cable I got in receiver box or use some high quality cables.
I want to upgrade front L & R speaker and my budget is 15k which one is best Yamaha ns p51 or Pioneer sp bs22.

1. Yes if you use high quality cables like shielded core cables for speakers which makes your sound quality better. Inbuilt cable is not really good but can worth to use.
2. You will get good speakers in that budget maybe try Sony. Also make sure each speaker rms should be below 100 watts else these will damage Yamaha amplifier.

Great. New generation asking for high bass hence suggested Sony. Pioneer is good too. Only thing is check RMS up to 100 watts not speakers watts

How is the bass of this product? I find many people complaining about the bass. Also is not having a USB port a major problem on this product?
Bass is average as compared to other brands but vocal clarity is awesome. If you really feel the movie or songs with balanced sound then this is a good option.
Otherwise, can mount Active subwoofer too which can help to extend the Bass.

Hey, good to see u r also using mi tv. Here's a situation m facing. Turn off the tv using the remote, and also turn off the yamaha reciever. Now turn on the tv using remote, yamaha reciever will automatically turn on but there won't be any sound. To get back the sound you will have toggle the hdmi option. Any idea how to fix it m using 4a pro tv
As per my understanding, if you have changed your source in Yamaha after or before TV starts then you need to restart TV but before that you have to switch to HDMI1
If you don’t want to control TV and Yamaha receiver then go ahead and turn OFF HDMI control from Yamaha
@@KeysWheelsByDhirajPatel i think its mi tv's software issue. I turned off the tv turned it back on again, in the reciever i noticed the TV icon was not displaying, i again turned it off and turned back on this time i removed the hdmi cable from the tv before turning back on, there was no sound coming out from tv, when i checked the sound settings it was showing sound out put through HDMI. Not sure how to fix it.
If it is happening once in a while then it should be software issue, might be in Yamaha as well but if it is happening frequently then should be TV ARC hardware issue.
Check with Mi or with Yamaha customer care if they have any solution for this case
Im looking at this amp. Is the bass good? I heard only 15 wstts go to the sub. Im also tempted with the LG all in one home cinema blueray. At the 400 quid price point which would you recommend?
Bass is sufficient enough to listen songs with the high quality output but you wont get thumping bass with this engine. If your purpose is higher bass then you should go with other brands like you have mentioned LG that is good enough and Sony too. But balanced music with vocal and bass and perfect surrounding then you should pick Yamaha.
does this work with Rx-V661 and which yamaha remote controller is compatible for Rx-v611
Yamaha RX-V661 is separate AV Receiver, what is your exact question? I believe remote control should be compatible with some of keys disabled which are non-operable to the higher version of the receivers.

Sony ke dual driver ke speakers hai mere paas jaise aapne aiwa ke lagaye hai waise maine sony ke lagana chahta hu but wo support nahi kar rahe. 120+120w RMS hai 6ohms ke load pe. AVR same hai mera
It supports only 100 RMS per speaker, heavy speakers may damage the amplifier.
Does is allow dolby vision passthrough or not?
Yes it has 4K pass through and Dolby
Sir mere pass bhi same model hai movie dekhne ke liye koon sa program sahi hota hai 5.1 ke liye (sic.fi,hifi, adventure......)
It depends as per your requirement. There are various settings in there where you can modify as per your convenience. I am uploading new video soon which might help everyone to setup amplifier.

hey i have set up all speakers but some sound comes out of more speakers than the others i have this problem with my front and surround, subwoofer is doing fine
Surround speakers sounds more only on surround effects . Center speaker gives more sound always as it produce all sounds .
Please check speakers are not consuming more than 100 watts rms per speaker. And woofer should be 150 watts.
If you are using high impedance speakers, it won’t work and might causing issue with amplifier.
just purchased yamaha yht-1840 today,centre speaker and surround speakers wont work when tv is on, but all speakers work well when radio is on, works fine in test mode, can you help please
If you activate 5.1 channel or you can see 5 speakers logos on display while playing it should come up from all the devices. Change to 5.1 surround mode and all speakers will respond.
Also, check the cables connected to the devices which might be the cause of disabled speakers and woofers.

Yes all connected through wires. You will get sufficient wire in the box. See my unboxing video for further details. As I have uploaded around 4 videos of Yamaha Av.

Enable 5.1 channel then change the sound program to advance or other mode like standard or adventure mode. Don’t use theatre sound mode it will never get the option of middle speaker sound.

Which device you have had used before Yamaha ? As compare to other devices Yamaha bass is bit low. You can try setting bass level high and turn bass mode from remote too

@@vijayakumar_97 yes I understand that. That’s why you don’t feel punch over bass. Maybe you can use active sub woofer to Yamaha. Amplifier is good to produce bass but subwoofer is under power. Maybe try active one and see the effect of thumping

It’s wired connection. You can download Yamaha app to see how to a wiring for all the speakers.

Hey, Some people told HDMI arc can't pass 5.1 signal from TV, or it can only gives compressed 5.1 to reciver is it true ???
First you need to understand what is ARC?

I’m using Sony tv with earc feature but my Yamaha RX V365 doesn’t have a arc support I tried out of arc extenders but not working
If arc does not support by Tv then you can’t see the menu of Yamaha on the Tv that’s it. Else there will be no such issue

There is no inbuilt Bluetooth but you can buy and use this device

HDMI over DTH to the box is only possible if your TV has HDMI ARC port
HDMI ARC port works as input as well as output.

I personally feel, Yamaha is the best as it has superb vocal and balancing sound
For best outcome try to play UHD or 4K quality movies from HDMi.

Dhiraj Brother, Recently on 22/4/2021 i purchased yamaha YHT 1840, if i connected HDMI ARC of AV to LG TV UN7300 65 inch ,the audio continuity breaking with 1 minute intervell, i have jio fibre 4k set top box connected another HDMI port, if hdmi from set box to YHT 1840 AV , And from AV hdmi arc to TV hdmi , the video continuity breaking, audio is ok , kindly help to solve problem ,volume is low even on +70, can i replace system, its in warranty period,kindly advise ,B KUMAR
I doubt if there is any issue with the Yamaha.
If I understood correctly, you have ARC cable in TV and another port into Set-too box, in that case just connect Set-top box to the TV and then Yamaha ARC to the TV.
Make sure you are connecting braided and branded high quality HDMI cable for ARC connection if you are using poor cable then it might create issue with passing 4K signals.

Phone jack is useful for playing movies or songs by headphones without disturbing others. It depends like if you want to play games silently it’s useful.

Are you connected to the HDMI 1 ARC to your TV?
It only works with first HDMi port. Maybe if not then please explain me clearly here so I can find out alternate option for this.

Then it should be the same as it handles only 1 output at a time. Audio 1 is only for audio’s and hdmi includes atoms sound output.

If there is a humming while on idle, please check cables are in good shapes and use high braided cables. Also make sure there is no power cable over to the speaker wires.
Also make sure pin you are using like RCA or 3.5mm cable is not loose or damaged.

TV is not really required to see the options, you can still see what you are doing on Yamaha on board screen which is more easy and convenient. HDMI ARC is a benefit to use if you have but on screen works at the same way.

Whenever bass reaches its peak, sub woofer throws a popping sound or cracking sound. Pls advice.
Then I think you can check subwoofer is damaged or maybe placed subwoofer at wrong space, make sure you don’t keep any obstacles near to subwoofer as speaker side and hole should have free space to throw punches out without any obstacles

It's not your location or surrounding objects, if your pumping the volume and the sub is popping it means you need to turn the bass down. The sub cannot handle that volume
It is working absolutely fine and there is no compromise on the bass, everything is crystal clear, maybe you can try that too
And what happens when you can't see ARC?
ARC is just a feature to let Yamaha allow to show the display menu on the TV else everything is available on the Yamaha screen too.

Not at all. ARC feature is only for getting Yamaha setup menu on TV, if you don't have ARC on TV then you won't be able to see Yamaha setup

Change Tv source to normal mode like watch movies and videos. If you keep ARC HDMI on all the time then you won’t be able to get voice output from the Yamaha.
Connect tv HDMI to Yamaha. Then start playing your videos from tv

It is just supports ARC maybe you need to look for higher version models for EARC
bass is very low how to improve,
Check bass is ON, from remote press bass button to confirm.
Also go to options then search speaker configuration mode
Change bass level to higher
To be honest, bass quality is powerful and perfect for medium rooms. You can make sure where the bass subwoofer located. It should be center or nearby to the center point of the room to get the effect. Keep away from obstacles.
Hi I done settings as you said in video but still I am unable to get output from speakers
Try simple steps first, connect 2 x front speakers first then get RCA to 3.5 mm cable, see if you are getting output from speakers while connecting mobile songs.
If you get output then connect rear speakers and woofer to see they are working too. If you find any fault, contact Yamaha to repair / replace the device.

Not really. You should chahe these all from settings by playing various sound modes or by pressing those 4 colour buttons are on remote control.
Crystal clear sound quality but bass is less.
Yes right but you can connect active subwoofer instead of passive subwoofer which comes in the box 📦. Subwoofer with its own amplifier make your bass extreme powerful and you can buy 10 inch active subwoofer for high level of bass. Trust me, high bass is directly impact to your body and hearing aid 🦻 if you are listing for a long time and it’s not really good sign. Recommended subwoofer is already tested and it’s in the box so make this one as default.

Ahh, sorry. Actually our location is having too much dust and I am not using remote control all the time as there is app for connecting to Alexa and thah can help to control rest other things hence kept the plastic cover as it is came from manufacturer
