Just came back from Phuket last weekend, Perhentian is definitely 10X better than Phuket. It was also raining lightly, so the water is not as clear. Be Careful, we swam w the fishes at Banana Beach amongst the coral fishes 🐠🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟 the small yellow black stripe fish actually bit us at our legs and Damselfish actually bit my elbow, there were teeth marks and blood flowed out 😥😰

Borh are expectionally beautiful islands. Perhentian less crowded while Redang more comercialize and off course more visitors. Turtle at Redang are more friendly compared to Perhentian. Both have long beach that have alot of activities. If you love corals, go for Perhentian as diving and snorkelling site are breath taking.
