Well done sir. With so many different prill sizes on all these products and different spreaders out there, this is the only way to figure out the spreader setting when not listed.

Watching this again I accidentally did a double rate on the front section when I went back over it the other direction 🤪

Good video on calibrating your spreader. I'm sure the inter-rater reliability of these Scott's spreaders is low, so individual calibration is needed.

Oh yeah, these spreaders can vary so wildly it’s crazy. Even if the bag shows settings for this, it tends to be off by a bit. All goes to show that you just need to know your individual spreader and how it behaves. Thanks for watching!

You did not weight the bucket you poured the fertilizer in, therefore, you did not pour 25lbs in the bucket. Why didn't factor the bucket weight?

That's a good point, if I want to be right on with my measurements I should zero the scale, however this is a cheap bathroom scale and not capable of that level of resolution it doesn't even pick things up under a couple of pounds, as I say it's "close enough" for this type of job I'm doing where I don't care if I slightly over or under apply, if I'm walking too fast or too slow with the spreader, there's so many variables, it's not like reloading ammo where "close enough" could be disastrous lol. But you're right if I want to dial it in more precisely I would get it exact but sometimes going over those details is just a bit too much talking for this channel, thanks for watching!
