The logo engraving is not that big of a deal once you're wearing the watch. For the money, a Pro Diver is still a legit budget-friendly timepiece worth considering. The NH35A is the main reason IMHO. It's a very reliable, proven, and easy to regulate movement.
All a matter of taste. I l i k e the brand engraving. Its not too big. Blancpain, Breitling and Hamilton do this as well. I like the see through caseback with the NH 35A branding on the yellow rotor very much. Cool. I like the watch. Its a great watch for its price point.
I think the movement looks great. Especially for people new to a mechanical watch. I am not rich and do not have some sophisticated movement watches so I enjoy the way it looks.
The problem I have with the other submariner homages is that they are 40mm just like the submariner, I have this in the Black and the Teal/blue 42mm with the NH35A and it just looks better at 42mm.. its very comfortable and looks great!
Funny, I have a few Invictas for pairing with different colors....not my favorite watches by far.....but i havent found a better watch with seiko automatic movement for $61 bucks.....LOL
I think the actual jubilee bracelet itself is better than the SKX in terms of weight and finish. Obviously the hollow end links, pressed clasp and lack of screwed links are in common with the SKX. Are you sure it's a sapphire Crystal?
I get annoyed with people saying reduce the size of the Logos and engraving on the side. They designed it that way because they like it, I like it, many like it. You cannot say they should, everyone to their own lol.
It's got a seiko movement NH35A... for the money it's worth it just for the stainless steel band and the seiko movement alone...I have the invicta 30091 black dial black bezel...
I agree about the 1953 ,probably the best watch they ever produced & it disappeared soon after its introduction, typical ! To be fair this here pro diver looks ok on the jubilee but its the bracelet i actually like & not particularly the watch.
On the other side of the pricing you have brands that place a 3,4k watch at 10k. Sooo what's the difference? A 10k + sub no where worth that. Advertising, trend, illusion.
That watch is awesome and I own many top tier brands. Only watch snobs care about the name on a watch at the end of the day. Rock what you love and if this is your jam than so be it.
My Invicta 29179, speeds about 3 secs/12 hours, and when I go to sleep I leave it on a table dial up and it backs down 3 secs/12 hours. So I may say that the watch is 0 secs/day?
@@dinner_workingsly I have beater watches under $100(g shock) and even under $20 (f91) but I want a cheap water resistant analog watch, being an automatic would be a plus. But I don’t know if the money would be better spent just buying something higher quality
I really like my 42mm. Its just the right size. Runs good enough. It is NOT a $100+ watch. I paid 87. I expected the weight to be more than it is, but oh well. And the shitty Jubilee bracelet is an insult. Threw a bond nato on it and am happy with it.
The watch collecting fraternity is full of snobs, most watch manufacturers have a sub in their line up, in fact it makes me laugh because I was in a jewellers while on holiday a few years ago and I was wearing my seiko sea urchin and the owner asked if it was a rolex!!! Funny how people don't call seiko for there homages to the rolex subs!!! The Pro Diver actually has a better movement than the sea urchin as is the 35a which has hacking. Comparing the case quality the invicta also has the better finish over the sea urchin too.
Oh dude...you went there. I’m gonna be honest, I’m pretentious....these aren’t for me. I would however buy a super cheap NH35 powered one for a spare movement. My dislike is pure snobbery, I find that 99% of them are so gaudy.
Lol hey Levi yeah I'm with you on that I'm not a huge fan of Invicta I don't have a problem with Invicta but I'm not a fan of them by any means. This one isn't bad and if I'm looking at it objectively for 90 bucks it's a starting point for someone's collection I would say... However there probably are better places to start like I mentioned that Pagani design 60 bucks...
@@WatchChris for sure man, if one of these starts someone off on collecting it’s great. It’s the ethics that you mentioned with pricing that leaves a bad taste....and the horrible aesthetic. Now Deep Blue....I have more trash talk for that one..🤢
@@WatchChris I had a GL0076, it was actually pretty sweet. I just didn’t like the bezel or the thinness of it. Too big of a diameter for the low profile. It was blemished on the inside of the crystal when I got it...QC seemed a bit negligent. It was an easy enough fix, but that would t be the case for everyone....required removing the movement obviously. It’s in the rearview now though, I won’t buy another.
@@dinner_workingsly never any issues on my end, have 3. W/O Invicta though Glycine might not be still around, that would be a shame. So far they haven't interfered.
Invicta = damaged goods Sorry but the reputation is tarnished in my books. And when there are SO many other good brands out there, why bother. Maybe that's harsh, just my opinion Edit: yes I'd rather buy a Pagani Design. and in fact, I have :)
I have the 40mm version. And it's my beater watch. Great watch especially for the price.

I just got the Invicta Pro Diver 8928OB for $45 on Amazon. 😁 Seiko NH35A movement in a watch looking this nice, for $45? Total steal. 😁
Just scooped two up on Amazon for $48 each. Super happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the shout-out brother. Great review. 💯 agree with everything you said.
Where did u get the green strap mate? Thanks
I absolutely love my Invicta Watches and if someone would ever walk up and talk shit about my Invicta will be picking there self up off the Ground😮😮😮😮

Hi , Yes $44.97 for Limited time , Automatic .Great Good deal . I still see Invicta 29178 or 30091 in less the $75 in Amazon.
I guess if you dont like Invicta showing the NH35 you dont like Seiko doing the same, enjoyed your video

Are you sure it's a sapphire Crystal?
It's mineral crystal.
I love all the invicta haters out there to keep invicta pro diver price low. It is a very good deal for $60 or so.
I get annoyed with people saying reduce the size of the Logos and engraving on the side. They designed it that way because they like it, I like it, many like it. You cannot say they should, everyone to their own lol.
I just paid 65 English pounds for this watch from Amazon I'm over the moon ☺️
I REALLY like that "green lantern" vibe

Anyone know where I can get a ceramic bezel replacement? I’m not really happy with aluminium bezel. Thanks
Amazing watch, I too have it Doesn't look less than a Rolex. I also have reviewed an Invicta watch
I own this one and a bunch of other Pro Divers and Speedway and I love em, but it's not sapphire. I wish it was.
For me Sapphire or acrylic no more mineral crystals for me !

That Watch is sick! Better than a 5kx

Is it worth buying a beater for this low of price? I want a beater, but I feel like I’ll run into QC problems if it’s under like $250 CAD.
There are far better and cheaper beaters.

It's a watch made for covid 19 times.
You'd want to stand 6ft away and wear a mask while rocking this.
Lol
Better stay at home, so nobody will see it.
Yeah you're just being weird. Stiver watch looks like a lot of other dive watches. I'm sure you would say the same about a green Seiko.
Hard to find a better watch for $60-90
Yeah you'd throw away a Hulk because it's too green.
I have one .....its a good Watch for the Price.Greetings
I hate this big Logo on the left housing site. Is this watch available without this logo on the side?
Thanks for your honest review even if I don’t agree to some of it. I love my Pro Divers, sorry 😊

What model is this? I want it!!!
Invicta 29177
Is Seiko SKS worth the price difference over INVICTA Pro Diver ?
I just copped a pro diver that mimics/pays homage to the incredible hulk submariner it looks sickkk
I'm surprised anyone would think a watch for $100 is a $1,000 watch.
If you like it, its a good watch

I guess you don’t like the rolex dial then they have almost the same amount of text on them
Hate Invicta, tell me more on that. 😂
I got that 1953, you should also visit that new chronograph re-issue.
I know why they hate invicta because you can buy automatic invicta for less than rolex that they have with the same exactly same..
I’d buy 100k worth of Invicta before I ever get a hublot

They sell a million of these a year so I doubt they will be calling for your advice anytime soon.
Very good point I don't blame them
should be a great watch but i just dont like this particular tone of Green. looks abit too artificial or fake or bright???
LUCY. Lucy hates Invicta. So she passes that hate off on Glycine. Did she give any reason? No. Lucy is a troll I guess.
I’m a weak man, I too let my dislike migrate to Glycine.
You know I haven't had a glycine on the channel but people swear by them... But agree the Invicta name behind them doesn't help...
