It's actually pretty easy with small yarn, I'm a complete beginner, never made a clean chain before and here I am actually doing it. I also thought it might be harder with bigger yarn because it'll be harder to see all the individual chains if it's too fluffy.@@thegreenxeno9430
I started with small yarn and it’s actually really easy i would recommend either putting bobby pins on the loops and getting tweezers or just a small hook to help you grab the yarn through the hoops. that depends on how big you want your hoops!

Thanks! I was trying to make a blanket with chunky yarn the same way I would with small yarn but it just wasn’t looking right and kept curving, this is much easier and looks pretty! (Edit: ended up finishing it in a day! Couldn’t believe how fast it went.)
@@keroki932 That's not too specific. Instead of three loops, I make a loop. I hold it with my right hand, and then I make a loop with the long end of the yarn without letting go of the first loop and put the second loop through the first loop, then tighten it. I was a beginner two months ago, and there wasn't an easier tutorial than what I found, so I had to figure the other method out myself.
If you want to perl, it's easy. Put the working yarn in the front of the loop, and then pull up through the back to make a perl stitch. You can do a knit three perl one stitch to create a ribbing pattern.
OMG this helped me ALOT l was struggling with knitting until I found this video currently lm making a pillow for my grandma and l hope she loves it plus lm already finished with my first side thank you ❤❤❤

I had carpal tunnel surgery and I have tremors so holding the hooks for crocheting is hard now. But this is so much more easier for my hands.

I’m pretty sure you can, you would just need to scout for the size difference by making the loops smaller
For goodness sake, don't start with small yarn. Practice with the big stuff and work your way down.
