I used to clean them for a dealership when I got into detailing after high school and that's about it. I love working on my own vehicles, sometimes I get overwhelmed with technical repairs. If anything, you expose others to your line of work and inspire others to just try it out. You don't have Ferrari's, you got Jeep's, probably like most of your viewers. We can relate to you and your content in some way, shape or form. I get something out of all your videos and I preciate ya for that!

The algorithms drive me insane. Yesterday my whole feed was salt water aquariums with grocery store bought live crabs etc. Theres no reason anyone would think that was for me. A buddy stopped by awhile back... we were talking cars and went to order parts. I mentioned a town i lived in 2.5hrs away i lived in around 08. We both had our phones in our pockets. When i looked up the parts, it gave me estimated shipping to that town.
I think you hit it right on the money with the way TH-cam does it's awful algorithms. I think the heavily requested technical videos won't draw larger viewers like just general off-road or tom-foolery. YT is like a side gig but you still want it to be successful

Hey dex i watch your video's because i have a 1996 jeep xj i was looking foe video's that shows how to fix or make changes to it for better 4 wheeling. I'm a retired welder and have a place in the az white mountians. And keep it there year round, but live in tucson during the winter. I always watch your video's thanks just wish you lived closer to az.

Thanks for sharing. As someone who's been making content longer but less successfull I can say for sure the searchable content isn't where its at. But like you its not a job and I couldn't keep doing it if I didn't do what I enjoyed. So I don't care if I make money or not. Be cool if it generated some but no worries if not. As for the subscribed not subscibed, I like to subscribe to the channels I enjoy, because I watch it on my TV instead of my phone. Through the TV you don't get all the youtuber's "posts" in the view my subscriptions button. You only see a list of the videos they post. It's nice and clean that way.
Sub'd I'm just getting into fixing cars Im especially interested in diagnosing issues and preventative maintenance. Once you know the problem it's easy finding how-to's. You have a lot of nuggets in your videos, jeep it up lol

I like XJ's but don't really have much interest or aspirations in owning one, your content somewhat blends with wranglers though so I watch anyways + your pretty down to earth, honest and provide interesting topics to watch. I personally watch everything on both your channels other than the shorts (dont like or care for the format in general) and dont watch the off roading stuff because it doesnt interest me (dont watch off roading videos in general, thats one of the things you got to do in person as its only fun when your doing it yourself).
The only videos i don't watch a lot of is the off roading videos just because thats something id rather actually do but i do watch the shorts of the off roading but i watch everything else 100%
