Andy Cahan on fretless clawhammer banjo, then Tony Trishka in later for a bluegrass solo, then back to Cahan.
I used to go hear these guys play at a place called the Eagle Tavern on Saturday nights in the early 80s. It was on 11th Ave and 14th Street I believe. They were amazing! A band that launched the careers of some amazing musicians.
Used to play at South Street seaport in the 70's. They were great and Richard was so funny.
Brings back such wonderful memories of the Citizen and friends!
