That's your most inspiring work yet. Gave me Moby vibes. Can we have a video on getting vocals for a track. I'm lacking confidence in doing my own vocals and a bit shy in sourcing from elsewhere. I love instrumentals but a small bit of voice can make a huge difference. For now I have limited myself to a limited phrases and chopped or rearranged them with effects.
"Damn the noise" will be one of my favourite tracks of this year, I've been listening to the last part of the video to be able to listen to it over and over again
To boost the algorithm I will tell you I love this channel and your videos. After two years of having no free time to make music I managed to get a family free weekend and immidiately came back to this channel for inspiration. Maybe one day I will take one of your courses, for now I will only spread some love and say thank you
Leftfield vibes, loving it. Coincidentally, this last week I have been mostly experimenting with 5 vs 6 vs 7 polymeters. miles and miles of MIDI. Thank you once again for this nugget of knowledge. Enjoy the week ahead pal.
Hi Oscar. I'm going to be cheeky and tell the algorithm to keep pushing your vids in my feed and tell you to keep publishing useful stuff like this. It's awesome. 😊 👍
Long time fan here. I love watching you have fun. It's infectious. I've enjoyed playing around with some of your production techniques over the years. Keep doing what you like cuz I like when you like it!
You have no idea how much I have learned (and continue to learn) thanks to you and this channel since I bought my first synthesizer in 2020 during quarantine. Muchas gracias desde Argentina!
Thank you Oscar !! Educating and entertaining as always! Everything so simple and so LIT! Love and Support, spreading your videos across music people I know ❤
As a techno DJ I usually filter out tracks that have vocals as they are rare to fit. I feel I'd keep yours! You have the only videos on the web I can groove to!
Input - velocity can do different things in every preset. Also with chords make sure you have poly voice above 3 for triad chords or poly voice 5 for 7th chords. Putting in work with this video. Thanks.
Love you getting everyone into polyrhythms! Def good to use in various parts of a composition to keep things interesting. I like also doing this by using 3 or 5 bar loops within a 4/4 track. Be it either lead sounds or pads. It adds a lot of interest in the track and funny enough you may find your favorite moment of your track is a "special instance" where maybe the two tracks both completely line up again after 15 bars of sound. I recommend anyone to try that out as well. Works amazing for ambient stuff and melodic elements as well! Cheers! P.S. those vocals are also reminding me of Depeche Mode vibes and im 100% here for that
Hey Oscar! Thank you so much for all the cool tricks your teaching us and for the actual music theory bits on the side. I learn so much from watching your video's. And do keep using your voice in your productions. It's inspiring! Maybe you could do a video on vocal recording and processing? Much kindness!
Holy sh*t this is really good....I've always wondered how to make a stable groove interesting and I just used to add percussions ...I never thought polyrythm was the answer... thank you very much for providing these tutorials for free
Oscar, thank you for your attitude in teaching and bringing new concepts to the creativity of each one of us. Maybe you could make a video where you could teach us some synthesis on how to make UK Bass music like Joy Orbison, Pariah, Overmono, etc.
Oh man you're so awesome. This track is freaking good. I had goose bumps at "Damn the noise" !!! Could you share the full track pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase ? Love 😍
Wowww, when i listen the instrumental i feel one feeling, but when you add your voice, deamm i dont really know what i fell , im just cant belive what i listen. (in short words more than fire) Thanks fore share .
Love the video and the track such a moody vibe. I really like how you incorporate your voice and piano play. Sounds perfect! Here are my suggestions for today: “Alan Fitzpatrick & Lawrence Hart - Closing In (Jody Wisternoff Remix)” and “Joyhauser - Knaldrang”. Have a nice rest of the week everybody.
Such a great idea, thank you. I am dawless but for sure I've got ways to implement many 5s and 7s 16s. I'll try 7 steps arpeggiators so I can move around harmony as you did.
Your voice is clearly changing the game for that song ! Great job thanks for the tips ! Will you do a video about how to be set to record our voice for our songs please ? Thanks by advance !
Thanks Oscar, I really learnt something there and amazing vocals at the end! It would be great if you could go over your vocal processing chain in your next video! 🙂

The song in the end is super sick, has some Sascha Funke / Ben Böhmer vibe
Awesome! Especially the chord trick. It's really a great way to get rid of the boringness. Thanks for the lesson!
Seriously inspiring! I'm going to steal this, both the subtle polymeters but also the reminder to sprinkle in some delicious vocals.
You spreading great knowledge, available for free and for the whole world! Thanks for everything I learned from you. Sending love
Wonderful, I appreciate it as my new concept of making grooves. Thank you
Your voice added the whipped cream with the cherry on top.

Your 650 like hit from Morocco!!!! Nice work mate!!!!!
Amazing man! Love the vocals as well
Dude...what you taught here is amazing, but the vocals add an impressive layer on top of the entire track! Please, continue using your vocals!
Wow, that was amazing for such a small difference! Thanks for the lesson. Also, the vocals are fire
