I have been following the SSU for about ten years now. I think the Foundation and Conservancy need to bury the hatchet and close ranks or the SSU is going to be scrapped. I still think it could be restored in an Mexican or Indian or perhaps Russian shipyard at a sane cost.
Why was it allowed to rot away? I hope it can be restored.
