I would assume this would work on a s10 as well. I will have to mock it up and see and hope that this kit will work, just need to make sure the shifter hole will match with the front shifter relocation
I am doing almost the same thing with my Tremec T-56 Magnum F series tranny. It does not have a front offset shifter pocket like the other magnums . I want to install a standard Magnum shift pocket from a non-F-series in the front mount location. Getting the correct location for the rear hole drilled location is critical, if you don't have it clocked right the 5th and 6th gears won't engage right. Can you put the new shifter pocket on the shaft without cutting it, then install the front pin just to locate the correct location for the rear pin. Then you could drill the shaft and then cut the shaft? I am thinking even if you cant drill it with the new shift pocket you could scribe a line on the shaft/pocket the remove it = drill and cut it then ?
Did you have any issues getting the shifter to move into the forward gears? The little red seal thing in mine prevents the shifter from fully locking into gear, when i take it out it works great but i don’t want oil shooting out of my shifter so i need that seal. Idk what to do.
I recently did this same kit It all went good but it still feels like it’s not hitting solid in the forward shifts When I pull it back I hear a bang like it’s fully bottomed out and the gear change feels good but when I go in forward gears it feels soft almost like it needs to go another 1/16” or something I’m gonna install it next weekend but I’d like to know if there is a problem staying in gear or anything before hand Here’s my install video Thanks for showing yours it helped me along the way th-cam.com/video/utM-D18kHOQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=emPByQD_0RPUd1W8

Great video, thank you
Why not do a clamp with two halfes. You dont need a pin in the rear shaft, only the front shaft and its already done.
Thank you it help a lot
