Overwatch 2 FPS CAPPED AT 60 EASY FIX! | How To Fix Overwatch 2 60 FPS BUG
In this video, I show you how to fix Overwatch 2 being locked at 60 fps. It's a really quick and simple fix. This tutorial is mainly for PC, but I think it could work similarly on console. This works on windows, but also on any OS that supports overwatch 2. Remember that in the settings window you will always see 60 fps because it is locked there. In-game you should see a higher fps after doing this tutorial though.

@@momoe1206 if I remember correctly the resolution setting has versions for 60fps and uncapped which was my problem, idk the reason for it or if that's related to your problem

I have a 75Hz Monitor and inside the game there is no resolutions with (75) after the resolution this problem only happened

Cool, now you can enjoy screen tearing!
It works properly if you go from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen - vsync either on or off, and it runs and whatever framerate you set.

the most weird thing is i only have 60 resolution option but i reached 120/140 fps BUT after some maintenance in season 8 they fked something up and evensince my fps are stuck on with 60 fps. Blizzard just fkin suck big fat you know what and they fk up everything also i have in game dc's and what they told me to do after contact with support they sent me some weird programing/pc science sh1t so i can't figure it out and before i start playing i have to reset my ip in cmd. i play maaaany maaaaany games, online games and ONLY that sh1t happens playing overwatch pure magic. That company is the worst on whole world ;)

One, you do not need to go to the firing range LOL! Two also make sure you know the hertz of your monitor because if it is to low it will actually not pick up the frame rate if you set it to high and you will actually just makes things even harder on yourself. Also you do not need to turn on so you can see the numbers, it is just visually pleasing to some people (I like it to be on). lol

@@anti_shirk2592 Do you play on a laptop? if so, make sure that your power settings are correct. If your laptop is on some sort of eco mode it might limit your fps. Hope this helps!
