I’ve found that one of the pros of online shopping is being able to find something specific more quickly and easily. Looking for a pair of high-waist, boot cut jeans in a store was nearly impossible. The con is that, if you don’t know what size you wear in that brand, you’re going to get it wrong.
I agree with all your pros and cons! As a former shopaholic I stick to online ordering because stores are so enticing I would always impulse buy. I think I can control myself this way because it eliminates the sensory delights, visual, scents, music, the victory of scoring huge wins at a sale. All the things that got me into credit card debt. I miss shopping.
Gen x. I love Going Shopping ! I like to touch and feel. and I like to walk ! I do not like grocery shopping so much. I do pick for that probably 50 percent of the time.
Not to mention shopping online is frequently cheaper! I mean there’s things like Facebook Marketplace and buying stuff used on Amazon. On a side note, Rachel I really appreciate how you’re advertising board games, it just comes off as wholesome and consistent with the spirit of the Ramsey Network’s messaging around connecting with friends and family.
I have strict rules about shopping. Fresh food is always purchased in-store and I inspect every item myself. Packaged food is bought online if it's cheaper. Household goods are bought online because I don't own a car so it's easier to have it delivered. I buy shoes and underwear online but buy clothes in-store so I can try them on. In general, I buy very little and haven't shopped at a mall or department store in years. I only go to discount stores twice a year and mostly shop at thrift stores.
I live in a rural area and I’m retired, so shopping online is much easier. I do make the 30 mile trip, to the market, each week, so if I really want to run into a store, I do it then. With gas prices, online is the most economical for me. For me, impulse shopping can be an issue with either choice😀
I have traveled to California the last few years for holiday shopping. I take a cargo van and enclosed trailer for the trip. We hit up several places in a day and fill the van and trailer and come home. Costs us nothing for about $15,000 worth of goods. This last trip I needed a sawsall because they are starting to keep things behind plexiglass- but just chop on through and it's good to go. Bolt cutters are also needed. It's way better than online.
Gone are the days searching for something you want in store and they either don’t have any left in stock, they don’t have it in the size you want, or it’s the wrong color, too many variables to go wrong, but online you have almost 100% chance to get exactly what you want
I like both ways. Buying shopping on line and in the store too. But I feel like I spend a little bit more in the stores when their new stuff is coming out
Yeah because more than half of the people who shop your order either are very uneducated (and are completely clueless as to what is considered good quality) or dont speak English. I've been in this situation many many times, especially over the last 3 years since Covid started. I got attached to online shopping for pretty much everything i.e. groceries, meals, clothes, etc. I've gone to the stores every once in a while, however due to my schedule it's just easier to order it online and have someone do it for me. I admit doing it myself gets overwhelming. Rachel stated that with her "Decision Fatigue" factor.
I always want to buy in store if possible. So much that I go to London to get to cloth shops that don’t exist in my country. But there is a couple of shops in your country that is not in Europe 🤬 Those I am forsed to buy on line unless I have a trip booked to your part of the world… 😔well you can guess how often that is. Food I buy mostly from a couple of farmers living close to us then you get fabulous produce 🥰
Why don’t we make expensive dresses in Australia.. 🇦🇺 for example taking cotton to Vietnam 🇻🇳 china or thiland or India 🇮🇳 Pakistan bengal and bring open clothes to sew 🧵 here to make expensive clothes of fancy floor .. because for quality and economical dress we have big w , k mart and so on that has clothes made in overseas. However, slightly improved quality product of same tyoes are beings sold in fancy shop with massive prices making maximum trillions dollar profits.. why they need trillions when expansion is completed .. ? Why can’t we make these products in Australia 🇦🇺 paying better wages and lowering profits. What that means is that unwanted huge profits goes to salaries given better opportunities to all in excess to better life increasing massive jobs .. .. lowering the rent because what happened is this people also putting rent up means business man and rich householder sharing massive profits selling similar products in huge profits. Instead the product get manufactured here lowering huge profits..

Is better to do in-store shopping because you get to touch and see the specific items that you really need..
You get to try on the clothes. Even if it is your size, think about the material. What looks good on the model may not look the same on you

They also take debit cards.

I do the same thing! I always but more at target when shopping in store! I like online because I spend less and less impulse buying!
I love hoop earrings
The moldy strawberries! It's so frustrating 😭
I agree
Online shopping helps me to avoid impulse purchases. I just add fav items to shopping cart and go to sleep 😀
Added pro (in person): better customer service
Additional con (online) you can't use cash

It's way better than online.
Why don't you shop in Oregon? No sales tax. You could be saving a lot.

No way- in California it's all free.
@@GardenerEarthGuy what's free?

Pros and cons to both. But online shopping to me is best due to the convenience and that it is good for people who are busy
I prefer to shop in person and I finish my christmas shopping by Oct. 31st, (I hate crowds).
I hate paying for shipping also.
You pay to drive around shopping store to store ?
Ordering produce online is the worst. They usually don't pick good quality produce.

I like shopping online because im a guy. I know exactly what i want and its easy to compare prices online.
In-store shopping is usually a fail for me due to limited inventory of so many items.
Rachel, can you post a video of what makeup you wear and how to apply it?? 🙏🏻🥰💄💅🏻🎉
Love your shows but I’m over the board game ad
Same I always fast forward that part
