Colors DS is the good version of the game, Colors Wii is the great one :p
(they're both fantastic but DS is a lot more traditional in terms of Sonic games)
IMO DS is way better for beating it in a single run, but if I had to choose between both games 100%ed, I'd pick the Wii version, it has many really fun acts and is an incredible visual spectacle even compared to all the other modern Sonic games. What bogs the Wii version down is the forced gimmicky stages, but is otherwise a really dang good modern Sonic game.

Honestly I've heard nothing but good things about Sonic Colors, but in the end I never bought it. At that point, I think my faith was already soured by Sonic Unleashed and SatSR.
