i love your narration as well as the background music. makes all of this seem like some grand adventure - which it is, but we're also just learning more software features 😆😆
Some parts could use a small pause to process the markdown syntax and what it's doing, I had to replay a few times. Despite that, I love that you get to the point of making Obsidian useful, in less than 5 minutes I now have quite a few ideas of how to do linking in my notes that is a lot more interesting thanks to this video. Well done!
Hello, Thanks a lot for the fantastic tutorial. However, I still have a question about linking. Imagine I have a note named XYZ, and I refer to this note [[XYZ]] in ten different notes. When I go to the XYZ note itself I want to see all the other ten notes in which [[XYZ]] was referred. Is this possible?. Thanks in advance.
It is.The backlinks and outgoing links panel are what you’re looking for. Check out: notes.nicolevanderhoeven.com/obsidian-playbook/Using+Obsidian/01+First+steps+with+Obsidian/Using+the+right+side+panel+and+links
Which setting will allow me to open note in new window instead of my main note goes out of way and I want to go back to it I have to go back like a website
No, actually not, @@hedyraymond 😁 - lower or no music at all would be even better. Not everyone who watches tutorials in English is a native speaker (I am not) and music in the background makes it really difficult to understand what is being said. Since it is important to watch what is shown on the screen subtitles are no option. Thank you so much for considering turning the volume down.
Out of all these years this is the only Obsidian video that makes sense, and it's from a freaking AI.
I’m glad it was helpful. There’s always more than meets the eye.
Amazing tutorial! Short, precise, engaging and easy to understand! Bravo!
Thank you!
I love this! First tutorial that doesn't put me to sleep. Can't wait to put all these nifty new finds to use. Thank you for making this 🙏🏻

huge boost to taking the learning more attentively. Think the dancing robot did his job. Just got into the rhythm.

Right-click on any note in the file explorer. From the contextual menu, select whether to open it in a new tab, to the right, or in a new window.
Great tutorial - but most annoying and too loud background music.
You didn’t dance while watching it did you? 💃I’ll lower it for the next ones 😊
