- I present to you the finale of Season 4! Sorry it's a day late but hope you all had a merry Christmas! After the last two seasons ended abruptly, I can finally say that Season 4 was given a proper end!

I loved Edward basically mocking Mattel for replacing him with nia in the television series. 😂😂😂

Edward is the most badass engine ever, doing what he did to get the passengers home is truly out of this world, he has wisdom, kindness, courage and the iron will to never give up.

I love how you took that stab at Mattel with the reference to Nia and BWBA. Now I feel that since your boi Henry is getting swapped out for Rebecca in BWBA, you should do an episode where Henry is left with a tough situation of if he should stay on Sodor or choose to take up an offer working on another railway, complete with once again, another comedic stab at Mattel and a reference to Rebecca, like say "and be replaced by an engine who could malfunction all the time?".

Gordon’s speech at 2:17 felt so inspiring; not to mention the music that accompanied it to make it feel even MORE spirit-lifting. I also loved that bit about the engine from Africa so much, I laughed. And I didn’t see 15:47 coming; nice bit of payback.
I really admired Edward in your series. We have all seen sides to Edward the Wise that have not been mentioned in the TV series. Turned out in this video, new iron sharpened the old iron, which keeps the old iron as sharp as an 130 year old engine.
Yeah take that Mattel.

I'm actually speechless in this episode. I don't know what to say other than how inspiring this was. The fact that the reference of Nia from Africa was mentioned kinda of hert on the inside of what "may" come. However, in this series, Edward staying at Tidmounth Sheds made me very happy indeed. Although, I did thought that if Edward did left the sheds, I thought it would be Rosie that will take place in the sheds and not Nia.
Stephanie Milley Especially since T1E2H3 won't shoehorn any international engines or BWBA characters into his stories, so don't expect Nia and Rebecca erasing Henry and Edward to be a thing.
XD hehe loved the burn on that upcoming movie from Edward.Nice to see the bigger engines who put Edward down time and time again praise the gallant old engine.
Also nice to see Edward will still be in service, just a very light load though. Once again, he showed he'll go above an beyond to get the passengers home, even dragging the express coaches which are no doubt heavier than his orange branchline coaches. Edward is old, but he's got enough spirit to keep going even if he's not the engine he used to be.
A wonderful episode! Can't wait to see where you go with season 5. Have a happy New Year

I love all the references to the classic Edward Episodes and the various references sprinkled throughout the video, thank you for doing this engine the justice he deserves.
I just watched this a second time, and the ending made me cry (probably cuz of the music u used for it). That, my friend, is an impressive feat; I don't think I've ever experienced that while watching a fanmade Thomas story. But besides that, you too have proven why Edward is one of my favourite characters of the Sodor universe. Well done!

If you think that Political Correctness in Thomas is okay, then you're not a real fan and are part of the problem. I never imagined that I would hear not in a million years that Gordon would dedicate a few words to Edward and that he didn't want Edward to leave,and the other engines agreed and Edward surprised!
It caught a bit my attention: The scene in which Edward confronted to Sir Topham Hatt after he said him that only the big engines could carry the express,and The Fat Controller yielded saying: All right...!
At least,I'm not the one in which noticed that while Edward said his decision,he said something daring (when he said he didn't wanted to put his big fat... I meant tender...) !

SS-220 That reminds me, you should watch his episode "Painful Memories" where he does a good portrayal of Henry having a fear of fuel tankers, and Edward helping Henry overcome said fear. It's actually a really good story and feels very relatable to people who struggle with phobias of their own.

Physically Edward might be old but for the hundred and twenty one years not having an accident with the trucks and being able to show the engines a thing or too, my god he is the smartest and to me the strongest engine in the whole damn story and Gordon’s was right,he bestowed that he isn’t just a tiny little old engine but the strongest willed engine on the damn railway

I knew Edward would never give up. However the previous part had a point, in real the wagons gets longer and heavier, but not on sodor, they keep the vintage rolling as regular :)

Hey ya! I need to say a lot of things:
I am a big fan of your channel. Srsly. I find inspiration from them when my little siblings want to play Thomas with me (of course not the dark stuff).
Also, I love this 2-parter. It was so sad, and made me feel like my heart was both dying and putting on its dancing shoes! This, in a way, represents Edward's department in the show. He may be gone forever, but he will not fade like a CERTAIN ORANGE BUCK TOOTHED TANK ENGINE, but stay in our minds and heart, letting us know that while Thomas may change, change is normal, and that doesn't mean that Thomas is still not Thomas.

Now, to wrap this comment up, I have a suggestion for a future episode.
"Change of Tides"
It's a few days after New Year's, and there is change in the air. First, Gordon discovers that Spencer has stopped being a ginormous arse and has treated him nicer. Cranky, however, has a spot of bother with a certain new crane who is HAMMERING* the thought into cranky that he may have to be tooken down... Finally, Toad becomes involved with a "Save the Beaches" charity. These are all supposed to connect, but I'm leaving how they do it to you, T1E2H3.
What else is there to say, except Happy New Year, everyone! Lets make it count!

Almost 4 years and this episode is still amazing. The music where Edward gets the passengers to Knapford is good don't get me wrong, but if the "Edward's Night Train" Theme by Mavis M was used instead, I think it would make this episode even more amazing. (I know Edward's Night Train was made in 2018 but my point still stands)
If they go bankrupt it serves them right after all the things they’ve done to Thomas.
James No.5 Even if Mattel doesn't file for bankruptcy, they will likely be in a bad financial position that they'll have no choice but to offload Thomas to another owner, especially with how much Thomas Wood and BWBA have left the audience very pissed and ruined the franchise's reputation.
