It also works on every time frame the 4hr is perfect
One more add: If you use the 4hr for alerts and then wait for the 15m to do the same it is almost unbeatable (with a few tweaks)

Hi, thanks for sharing. I have developed a Pine strategy script in TradingView to backtest this approach. I used GOLD as in your video and sticked to the 2% vs 8% risk reward ratio. Well, the results are far away from your results: winrate 23%, PnL 34%, profit factor 1.104. I had to go long only. Short trades would be a total loss. I guess you just were lucky with the right time testing it...
Most of his back test results are far away from reality

@@Welwynnick with RR 1:1.5 I get a simulated winrate of 43%, a profit factor of 1.09 and a PnL of 18.9% with a total of 144 long trades in the last 10 working days. Short trades don't work well. In between it went up to 50% PnL and then dropped down to the 18.9%. Maybe I find time next days to polish the script and publish it on TradingView. Will leave a comment here...
@@Kaspricci i hope you will, would be interesting to see, searching for a better 1 min strategy like I use with a 1:1.5 RR and gotten a 45% Rate with an account gane of 35% after taxes and what not expenses, decent but always needing something
Your explanation is realistic and straight to the point. On the other hand there are many ways of manipulating the market, I was able to grasp the knowledge of trading forex assets early enough, but i was still limited due to my lack of technical understanding of how to analyse the digital market , all that changed when i encountered (sir nathan davis) strategy. more emphasis should be put into day trading as it Is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.
It took me some time to get into crypto and I know that for most of you it is similar to me it is still very difficult and this idea of "quick-rich" will never work. This is why we need strong sustain projects and projects which offer a use-case and aren't just there. I think you all know what I mean, Amazons AMZ22G is the way

1. Do not trade your own capital
2. Do not trade with less than 50k
3. Get funded by a prop firm. If you cannot pass the evaluation you should not trade your capital and if you pass the eval. You have no reason to trade your capital.
I use this one on 50x leverage. Sometimes 25x trading xrp. Its decent

Ive also noyiced if you tale the squeeze momemtum indicator and put lines evenly on positive and negative sides to where the 3rd histogram touches it in a break out youll secure a betger win bevause of volume

Go by % on the take profits and stop losses. Not just the ratio (+3 for win & +2 for loss) on trader edge

Thanks for the strategy. The problem I have with it is that after you get an entry, sometimes you will get a signal to go in the opposite direction before you hit your profit target. In my mind, that is a signal to reverse positions, if you are truely following the strategy. Am I reading this wrong?

Whats starting amount and what leverage? I use kucoin and somehow the fees are eating my profit up. I use market order and switched to limit order and its a little better but harder to get in a position cause price moves so fast. All from phone. Tried doing bybit but they arent in usa so i cant make account.

I just tested this on 5 minute NVIDIA chart. I also used a 400 and 800 bar ema crossover as a directional filter. Sick results with a 4 to 1 ratio. Thanks for sharing this 💎!!!
What to do if, during a trade, a valid crossing happens in an opposed way? For example, you are in a long trade, still on the trade, and then the white line crosses the green line and all the short conditions are met? Do yo still handle the long trade or close it and open the short trade?

Did anybody else backtest this strategy? I followed the strategy and ran backtest automatically instead of manual cherry-picking the trades. Many false entries generating huge losses.

@Tim Kasprzyk By curiosity and for fun, I have a premium trading view account and implemented in pinescript v5 and backtested this "strategy" from December 2020 to July 2022, in order to have a buy and hold around zero but with bearish and bullish peaks; the results of the backtests are awful, knowing that i have a tested several combinations of RR, fixed stop loss, stop loss based on recent swing low like in the video .....; once again, and as in 99.99% of these kind of videos on youtube, giving a winrate and a profit factor, in certain market conditions, on a given asset, for only 100 trades is RIDICULOUS ; everybody with elementary school notions of standard deviation and margin error/confidence interval can understand that.
What if you did the opposite? 71% winrate doing the opposite of taking the trade and going short vs long or long vs short???
doesn't work like that
taking the exact opposite trade would be having a 4:1 risk/reward per trade (risk 1% for 0.25% profit), so yes your winrate would be 71% over these trades, however the profits per trade are not significant enough to make that strategy profitable. Of course changing the risk/reward will change the profitability of these 100 trades but unless you backtest this yourself we dont have a good idea of that strategy's profitability as a smaller stop loss would increase risk/reward but also increase chances of being stopped out etc.

@@jjdaniell2205 yes JJ. I would do a 1 to 1 and if I back test and see if a 1.5 to 1 or even 2 to 1 , whichever works better. 71 percent doing the opposite should work at a certain risk to reward but backtesting is key
Not profitable on crypto. There's way too many entries that don't pan out to 4x the SL.
At first glance this strategy is very promising, but an automated back test reveals a lot of false signals that end up with a stop. So if you cherry-pick trades or time window for this vid, the only one who makes money is this content creator.

You found the setups within 10 days.... you could easily cherry pick a good ten days for any strategy.

I may not understand how it works, but how is that that much percentage gain on account? If you look at the individual trades they only make around 0.08%-0.31%~. Can someone explain?
You have to make correct lot size for each trade depending on the SL and TP so each trade gains 3% or lose 2%
Ex. if the trade SL at 200 points and TP at 300 points then you make 0.01 lot size to gain $3 or lose $2
The next trade SL at 100 and TP at 150 then you put 0.02 lot size so you still gain $3 or lose $2
How did you get those percentage does?
The final PL is the result with compounding. You can see it in the equity curve chart
On trades that are consecutive wins it expodes. As the account grows so does money invested per trade. (2% of current equity not start value))
He uses leverage. U have to account for the SL and TP and adjust ur leverage to be at 2% risk per trade

In one of the examples on a 1min time frame you hold the trade for 9HRS !! while the price goes through 4 short term trends. My thinking tells me this strategy is independent of any strategy you put on the chart .ie If you just place the trade anywhere and hold long enough the take profit will get hit. Sort of close you eyes and throw a dart strategy
