I solved the painting puzzle at the end of the “DO NOT COME IN!” section by writing “Please” and then drawing a line from start to end. Literally blew my mind.
What an absolutely amazing game. You can tell it comes from a place of love for The Witness, but it also really isn't afraid to rake that game over the coals for some of it's worse design choices (pretentious audio logs, very slow-moving machinery, etc). The humor is on-point, and even transcends just making fun of The Witness with stuff like the broken Hint Button. The cool thing is that this game actually captures a lot of what made The Witness fun and interesting, that cannon puzzle was so fucking cool, and drawing right on the wires was actually amazingly creative. It isn't just a jab at another game, it's a genuinely unique and interesting game in it's own right. I honestly wish I had played the game myself instead of just watching a video, but my PC is broke rn so wat'cha gonna do :p Shoutouts to Dunkey for spreading awareness of this game, I wouldn't have even known it existed if not for his video.
I get where ur coming from and stuff but like when you explain that the audio logs and slow moving machinery was a downside of The Witness, I would consider it a good side, the whole point of the game is to have moments where you slow down and relax, exactly why a lot of the machinery and audio logs exist
@@alxder2418 I don't know why people keep calling it a downside when they are literally part of the eps and then being fast would make it like a quick time event stuff.
16:27 Notice on the "Kid Menu," none of the food items use the letter S, as it would've provided an alternate solution to the puzzle. And like, it would normally be called a "Kids' Menu," right? Great detail.
I'd only missed one acheivement. After scanning the whole level 3 times, I finally decided to look up where that last audio log was. It was the first one you showed, which I'd probably passed a dozen times.
Thanks for the help. While I was stumped (for way longer on a puzzle or few than your entire video haha), the Solar Panel one just had me scratching my head even after process of elimination. Probably tried most combos except that one.
After I realized I couldn't make much sense of the audio logs I started to think it was either way over my head or was going to end in a Rick roll. I was pretty damn close! Lmao Fantastic game A love of love went into it
i did that one by fully colouring the wire in while standing in front of the first impossible part. Not getting close, I never even saw the start and end written on the wire and it gave it to me
Holy shit, I did not even realize this was the solution until I watched this video. I did it by pure luck. I stood near the start on the monitor and angled it so that the line in the middle was less thick(pespective trick), then connected start and end and it worked. But I did not realize that I actually colored the wire instead the monitor until I went back ingame after seeing this video.
I thought I needed to play with perspective and started looking for white objects nearby Somehow I managed to catch a glimpse of "Start" behind the screen
I don’t know why, but for some reason the hedge maze just isn’t open. There’s just a gate in the way with a maze puzzle in front of the entrance, with no Start or End indicators.
I was playing this with my friend and he drew a cök on the part where it tells you how many loops to draw and he got in instantly. He literally drew it second try and skipped all of that part.
For the painting, i first wrote "Nani The Hell!" And that didn't work lmao. So when they said they want more loops, i literally wrote "Loop", then underlined it, connecting Start to End and it worked.
Same happened with me. I had to go back to the maze, redo the puzzles there and then to the observatory again. Then it worked. Maybe it was just luck though.
If nothing happens, it means that there are gaps in the line somewhere. Because of the glow effect, it may not be noticeable. Try to circle the line again thicker or draw it again, but slower. The situation is similar at 16:11.
Late but I’m case anyone from the future needs help on that too; that puzzle has a shape that looks like an “S” and “E” in the top left and bottom right. Just connect those
idk what these symbols are still. just no clue what do they mean? what is the thing im supposed to know about them? how do you know what order to connect them?
Just repeat the sequence that was on the last page of the book (22:32 skipping the missing shapes). It looks like there are shapes in ascending order of the number of angles.
Anyone know how to undo lines on the puzzles, I messed up the artist's critique one by filling the canvas in red when he said it needs more red. I don't know how to gett ridddd of all the redd

I am not even making this shit up. I was stuck on the Kid's Menu for five minutes. After attempting the maze and giving up I started reading the whole menu to try and find an S I could connect to an E and much to my surprise there isn't a single S on the menu. Then I realized you just have to solve the maze which is perfectly solvable.
I solved the maze first and it didn't work (I guess I had some holes I didn't see) so I thought "what would a child do?" And scribbled all over and it worked. Flat out thought that was the right method til I saw this and realised the maze does work lol.

i think the snek puzzle is kind of unfair
if you fill the spot where it wants to put the final end point, it unfills that spot
I still have no clue what the logic is for the order of symbols in the book

If you look carefully the S and E are inside the puzzle. Draw from the hidden S to the hidden E to open the gate
