My fave tank, it works if you know how to use the gun. With the right crew skills, equipment and consumables, paired that with directives this tank is badass. Plus when you're done with the field modifications, the 60TP can compete with the best of them.
Reminds me of a series of 4 games with the 60tp where I had 0 gun damage but 3k+ spotting every single time (just coudn't hit anything, not even close range shots but apparently I am a great light)

I love the 50TP but scared to buy the 60TP due to the long reload and gun handling maybe improved aiming vents and stabilizer and sacrifice the rammer? The 1 second advantage on the rammer to all the missed shots would be worthwhile? A option for a 2nd gun with higher dpm would be welcome by me. At the end of the game with all the 1 shots might be more better?
* You should be scared to buy it, bcs it is not as easy as u may think imo, especially bcs it is tier 10, and because of the non accurate gun with long reload and relatively low penetration. However, it is top tier tank, with inconsistent results. * Best equipments for me: vent, stab, rammer. And for field mods lvl 3 turbo instead of vent in some maps. * I see no point for using hardening instead of vents, I tried it and it is not good, which is strange, but u should believe me. * Skill was using improved aiming, I think it may be cool, not sure about this. * Gun rammer is mandatory. Hopefully this helps u.
You have to consider that Improved Aiming is also a bit of a stabilizer. If you improve the base accuracy without improving the movement dispersion, you still end up with a smaller circle when moving, turning, etc. Not as much as with a stabilizer, but you also have better stationary accuracy.

Probably because I have just 2 or 3 of them. :) On 60tp I had about 0.31 dispersion with bounty one, so the difference in accuracy was not big enough to outplay stabilizer. @@oscarovegren I think on this heavy vents works just perfect. Increase DPM a lot, aim time, also improves accuracy a lot. I agree vents are not as important on haevies, but in this particular case it makes this one noticable better. If you drop vents, and put impr. aming device you loose some accuracy from vents and the difference is again not worth the change. probably without wents all you can get is 0.32 dispersion so it's just 0.01 better then without improved aiming, but you get worse gun handling, less dpm, slower rotation speed and everything important on this tank. Remember that, this game is based a lot on the random draws especially you can feel that if considering dispersion values. I mean 0.01 less dispersion won't increase a lot chance to hit your shot. I believe more reliable is to have vents, because you can feel the difference a lot. If something is worth to consider I think is to drop vents and pick turbo or improved hardening. I think it could work. 60tp is not a grille. It has great trollish armor as a superheavy, so you don't need to snipe very often so I think 0.33 accuracy is enough to hit close/mid range weak-spot shots in tank like this. But ofc you can do what you want it's a game, if you play this - play for your fun however you want. :)

My Grille nedds 13 shots to one going near the center. You shooting at E100 all went in to the center. With Grille I would be missed E100 fully about 6 times.
No if you look at it closely it goes under the gun almost looks like into the turret ring or right into the bottom of the mantlet. This is actually where the armor is usually weaker on tanks going hull down.
I want a dad in wargaming aswell... that first game had so many shots that had no right whatsoever to hit. When I try that shit... I miss more then I hit xD Watching this video, the 2nd battle is how mine behaves, 1st and 3rd games just make me annoyed how those shots are impossibly accurate.

this tank on paper looks amazing. in game... well, i have better survival in 50% of the medium tanks. completely garbage armour or armour layout, not sure what it is but i get penetrated in almost any direction possibile. sad, cause is my favorite tank in terms of how it looks.
I agree with you. I regret buying the tank, it's too slow and it has a lot of really weak points in its armor. If they change the armor shape of 53 TP to this one, it might be the best heavy tank in the game.

@@oscarovegren it provides some view range, and decreases dispersion by half amount of improved aiming. I think it is still better than hardening. But I am not sure if improved aiming is better than v.stab.

try buying RNG from the same rng-dealer as skill. 1st and 3rd game rng was just ridiculously good. Even when fully aimed with far more accurate tanks I miss more shells then Skill did this video.
Yeah I grinded to the 60tp and I just couldn’t handle the fuckin gun handling. Shit was so bad for me. Sold it after like 20 games cus I just couldn’t have fun in it

So much in this game depends on whether the "gun behaves." It's one of the reasons I quit a long time ago. I love your videos, though, Skill. I admire you for being able to deal with the insane, hair-pulling randomness that drives the game's mechanics.
WG will make your gun "behave" or as we say bless your RNG, all you need to do is spend some gold, and you'll have favorable games until you need to buy again. MM/RNG are not as random as we would like to think, they want to make as much money as possible and they know exactly how to influence human behavior.
In the second battle you say ,,is best map for 60-TP, reality is, is not ....i Love my 60-TP but on some maps if team is melting you ar slow and nothing you can do..to reposition an can't really rely on the gun..damage is good but penetration is not...
How? I get about 2-3k bounced in a typical game - once you go hull down your turret is a blimin' castle. Are you overpeaking and exposing the turret ring?
Holy moly 60TP is painful tank to play, one of the worst tier 10 heavy's in the game. Not working in hull down; gun installation and cupolas are easy weak spots. Hull, well drivers hatch and lower plate EASY penetrate from front. EVERYTHING that enemies shoot goes thru: armor is garbage. Well what about gun; yep alpha is great, but reload time, handling, accurate, traverse speed, aiming time, etc crap. And what about shell? penetration in regular 250mm and 317mm on gold...seriously in tier 10 heavy??? and shell velocity 900, yep... Well what about mobility: slow and sluggish, very bad features now'a'days fast game phases, 60TP is easy pray for any faster tank, which can circle it without any trouble.

If I’m correct it’s not. It’s only when you have 150mm from the Americans.
*155mm guns can overmatch

in my opinion the best for 60tp is to take vents,rammer, stabilizer - stabilizer makes it A LOT easier to hit snapshots. dispersion is exactly 0.33
