THIS is THE LUCID explanation I've been looking for, as a newbie, for 3 weeks after watching so many fast ps-poor explanations. I've gotten to where I could say while monitoring the minute "ok, the longer the GREEN bottom tail the more likely to rise because of seller pushback; the longer the RED bottom tail the more likely to fall because of seller pushback (and vice-versa) - which still didn't really say anything other than a likely direction. I saw the ABCD method and now your method ties that method together nicely. Appreciate much your sharing of your knowledge; you're a good man. Thank you.
This was the first time in searching for quality content I decided to take notes just so I would remeber the nuances of ...how did the bar form?
Where did the bar form on the chart? And how did it get to where its currently at? Great stuff and I have a while to go until I take my first trade but with Live traders videos I feel I'm not going to screw myself before I make my first trade. Thanks

It's still a gamble albeit a highly educated one. If you are not 100% sure of the outcome it is gambling. Something could still go wrong and you lose. That is why he emphasizes stop loss so heavily.

I bought 1000 IMAC shares at 1.89 yesterday and got out at 2.10 for a decent profit, but I was beating myself up over it because the stock ended up rising to 5.21 throughout the next few hours.. This is a great way to think about it and makes me feel much better lol

I'm trying my hardest to understand why anyone wanting to become a stock trader would ever feel the need to have a coach, mentor, course, program etc...when all the information taught in courses and such are here on TH-cam> All for free access. The information is all here. Starting at the very beginning of what is stocks, learning stock trades, all the way to advanced strategies using different technical indicators and formulas This video would definitely be in the video package one would want to include in their self managed education on trades. I normally don't like and subscribe to youtube videos but I get so much value from this channel that I had to like and subscribe. The amount and quality of knowledge that this channel gives out for free is incredible.
Finally the the page I've been looking for. As a complete novice, I really appreciate you breaking everything down into simple terms so that everyone is actually able to learn. most other videos I've watched are just people selling their strategies and using un-explained technical jargon rather than teaching people to become self sufficient traders. thanks Jared keep up the awesome work.
You're a great teacher. And I love your straight talking no bullshit approach, and you make it as clear as you possibly can. Like a drill Sargent shouting at his soldiers, so they don't die on the battlefield. That's an extreme example of course, but you are saving peoples lives by making sure they don't go bankrupt.

This guy is a legend. I'm new to trading so have been learning from everywhere. Months in and ive been looking at candle stick charts with no fuc#### clue what the fuc# the different candles mean. Been watching 1001 freakin videos and the guys just show you their computer screens saying "bought in here...sold here and made $3575". Good for them but it doesnt help people learn. They just promote their richness. I'm hooked on this industry and how it works. Awesome video and great attitude full of details and facts without the B.S.
I'm in Australia so only learning our stock markets. A few experienced traders told me not to try the US markets yet as a beginner.

Jared, I am very new to getting into trading, I am semi-retired, maybe fully retired if I can get something going with trading. I have been trying to self-educate and looking into buying some trading programs, but you don't know who to trust. Tired of seeing how everyone made millions, standing in front of their 200,000 car, mansion and so on. I have watched a lot of so called webinars and most if not all are as you say, bullshit. Hi there...honestly, trading is a VERY challenging business. It typically takes 1-3 years to get good at. It's a very frustrating experience in the beginning. You need patience, discipline and persistence. Money management is your #1 job. Most traders risk too much too soon and then blow up accounts or severely damage their accounts. @@Live.Traders I trade the emini and usually trade 2 contracts per trade unless there is a lot of volatility then I only trade 1 contract. The most I risk per trade is $125 which is within my risk tolerance and less than 2% of my account size.

I know this is a couple years old but it's still relevant. There's only one other trader/teacher I've seen that has broken down candles and trader sentiment the way you do in this video. Very impressed and I hope that every trader new/experienced that views this takes it seriously. This worth so much if you take it to heart.

A market technician must rise above party affiliation. Be neither a bull nor a bear, but only seek the truth. A biased bull looks at a chart and says, “Where can I buy?” A biased bear looks at the same chart and tries to find where he can go short. An *SQB-AMAC Trader* is free of bullish or bearish biases. I am feel EXTREMELY EMBOLDENED after watching this lecture. I am a man of science, studied medicine professionally and have always lived with a mind for the proven experiences, as far as statistics go, even traditional science-based evidence is not concrete...it evolves in time [per say], math as well. I personally love my newest interests investing in stocks and trading, etc. I immediately gravitated to the analytical processes of the business. Mind you, I am GREEN GILLED, started looking at stocks in 2020 for the first time since university. However, I was not interested at that point in my life.
I digress, I am INFAMOUS for sharing too much. I simply cared about letting my new guru here, know that I've bought book upon analytic book, and I read some here and there, scratching my head and subsequently started to feel, deflated...until just now.
You are forward to the audience. I think it's obvious that you know a little bit about the bullshit and stupid [naivety rather] actions in the uninformed trading; and the hyperbole that is rather ignorant yet spreading TH-cam like wildfire. You seem to shoot from the hip, and honestly...that is totally sensible for learning about business management, marketing strategies, etc.
I know that you are a lucky guy. Why? Because to teach, inspire, and ecumenical to your own life, you are absolutely perfect. That is an amazing opportunity for me and I truly appreciate it. Thank you!

Heyyyy easy on poker. It took me 8 years, countless hours of study, and multiple investments in private coaching before my hourly/BB rate rose to a mid stakes pro level. -All while going bust several times along the way. I know you’re just making vague comparisons man. The vast majority of ppl who log extensive hours playing poker are long-term losers. I have only been trading six months, but there are so, so many similarities btwn poker and trading. The mindset, preparation, review, metadata, volatility, self-control, and so on. I started excelling at poker when I stopped focusing on the money. All I focus on now is making optimal (quantifiable) decisions, minimizing mistakes, and logging consistent results. The money will come. Hopefully I can parlay these same analytical skills into the stock market and, eventually, establish a similar pattern of consistency. Baby steps. Love the content man. Your tone is spot on. Brutally honest👌

I just wanted to say, this is probably the most valuable information on trading that I have ever seen. I am 55 years old and have dabbled in stocks and shares much of my adult life, but only recently started trading in commodities. I lost £ 4000 last week on good trades that I got in to too early or left too late. This guy knows what he is talking about. I have subscribed and will try to get in touch to see if he will give me a bit of his time, but if I had watched this a week ago, I would not be so concerned about Monday morning :) Thank you very much.
