Amazing results with a very efficient technique! I love how you discreetly went the extra mile with chapter-specific shoulder pads on your models showcased at the end, it really adds to them. Many bigger channels wont even put transfers on their marines at the end of their painting tutorials! If you were to paint some Horus Heresy models which legion would you chose and why would it be the Blood Angels?
Thank you very much man. Yeah I had to do it properly if I was going to do it at all. Still want to add some details to them but I am really happy with them so far. Ohh that’s a great question. They were absolutely brutal in the HH. Which chapter would you pick?
@@morewarhammer I have some Thousand Sons in HH, they are a challenge both hobby-wise (that metallic red!) and gameplay wise, but that just adds to the fun.
This is awesome! Loving the intro and the techniques used are awesome! I’ll be giving this a try on my Praetorian Guard to give their white armour a battle damaged effect for sure! Great work as always!
Thank you so much. I was happy with the intro. Want to refine it and do more like that. Think that’s how I will do my battle reports. Ohh that will look so cool 👌🏻
@@morewarhammer I did this for my Plageburst crawler and it was amazing. You're absolutely spot on. It's amazing for larger models, but I also tried it on my plague marines and it turned out great. I just need more sponges :)
@@morewarhammer now I have to check on the dark parts of my brain :) prime black, castellan green, Deathguard green, ogyrn camo and then ogyrn camo with ice yellow roughly 50:50 and then an overallwasch
Awesome paint job, they look sick! Been using a lot of sponge on my white scars vehicles and sucks. Love the white scars lorewise, but man do I not love painting white 😂
This technique looks very satisfying 🤗
Thank you. You will have to use it for your Orks
The voiceover at the start is so soft and gentle. Definitely owned by the most cuddly human on all of Terra.
Commander Silas Cawl aka Mr Cuddles
🙄
The nids definitely want to cuddle him 😅
They look awesome!
Thank you man. Really happy with how they turned out.
Simple and effective is always the best. Army looks solid!
Thank you sir. I was actually so impressed at how well that technique worked. Painted him up in record time.
Oli has good taste, if he picked Ultramarines he'd be in the doghouse. Sponge stippling is a great hack, especially for larger models, great stuff!
I agree 😂 I thought he was going to go for the smurfs straight away.
It was so useful for those larger models. You used it before?
@@morewarhammer Yes, it does wonders for giving depth to plate armour. Look forward to trying it on some of those new Space Marine units soon though!
The company heroes are a stunning set. Really fun to paint up. What chapter do you have?
@@morewarhammer Recently started a Grey Knights army :)
The super secret space marine squad. They are so cool.
Love painting tips! I'm not even into Warhammer but I do craft a lot and appreciate such tips for the sake or the artistic experience ☺️ Well done 👏
Thank you so much Rina, it worked out way better than I expected.

Rewatching this for the painting tips
More painting tips in the future you think?
Great results. It sounds like it's pretty quick, too.
It was very quick. I think I got the bulk of it done in less than 60 mins.
Thank you as well
Cool technique! I bought my first dreadnought a couple weeks ago and am just about to start it! Defintely going to give the sponge a go!
Highly recommend it. I loved doing it.
Yo that came out looking really good! Nice paint job!
Cheers! It was so surprised at how good it looked in such a short period of time. Larger models were always daunting for me with the big flat panels.
Knew the "technique" but it was a blast to watch this.
Great job!
Thank you so much. Really appreciate you watching. It’s a great technique for those larger models isn’t it. What armies do you have?

Yeah fair play to you. White scars are so cool but yeah painting white is not fun 😂
Which chapter would pick?
Salamanders, Ultra Marines, or Blood Ravens. The Blood Angel's are also a really good choice though.
Would this work for world Eaters too ??
It would I would say. Might be tricky to get in at some of the parts but it would definitely be cool to try out.
