Thanks a billion for this. I always wondered if his sp1 could be fully evaded. After watching this, I've successfully evaded his sp1 multiple times (starting with October Cavalier Difficulty 2.1). I imagine this will make map5 easier as well

I do not have the reflexes for the sp1 haha. Luckily I use Void and Red Hulk so he can't incinerate me. But at least you proved it can be done so better get the practice in haha.

only important part to evade is the end of sp1 and sp2, if you do that you can take out torch with any champion, he cant burn you when you hit him, but again no matter how easy they are to evade, if kabam lag you then you are dead, a 40k boss does not even need 5 hits :P If sp1 lag that prevent you from evading, but you can just eat the hit, does not do that much damage(only eat the beam attack), but sp2? ohh damn lol the evade part is like how you evade a standard charge or run in medium from the enemy, just wait for the loop and when he charge you, you evade, but because of all participles and graphical artifacts of that fire it often lag which mean your swipes back will not be register with the kabam servers and you are insta killed
Is the sp1 dex trigger always the same regardless of distance from HT? Is it about his arm or the bolt itself?

Yours is kind off different than the Analyzer as his videos has 4/5 dexterity on Human Torchs sp2 as compared to yours 3...I kind off wonder which one is easier to dodge!! 😎
2:19 Got you there. On the left, you dash back the same time as HT dashes in so that's why you get caught. It's bright as day man (well, I actually have to replay this countless of time and compare it to my own recorded videos to find the reason lol)
So it's not a random stuff but the player skill rather
The dashes are exactly the same. 5 hit combo and dash back immediately after. You have to look closer.. Play this again on .5 or .25x and you'll see the one on the left actually initiates his horizontal flight briefly to close the distance when the one on the right does not. Same dash.. different behaviors. If it were how you were saying it is.. there wouldn't be a difference, nor a need to close the distance.. because if I did in fact dash at the same time.. and not later like on the right as you're suggesting.. then the horizontal animation should technically be on the right.. not the left.. But since the AI has that targeting and follow mechanic like those sliding specials, or heavies that connect farther than they're supposed to, you get clipped. Got nothing to do with Skill.. If it did.. then this scenario should easily be reproduced to know how to avoid it. But as it stands after playing HT well over a hundred times.. I either have no skill.. or it's a random occurrence that people need to be aware of.
However, if you can reproduce it off of your own videos and research.. I'm all for seeing the evidence and learning what makes the AI tick.
@@dorklessons I did indeed slow the down video to come for that conclusion.
Look at 2:23 in slow frame, you did dash back the same time as Torch dashed in.
I honestly don't know how the animations frame work but I do know that 99% of the time, I will get clipped if I do what you did on the left. It might have been designed that way since the beginning. I don't know.
So I usually do what it's safe for me which is react when the AI reacts: dash back when AI dashes in.
Also I don't understand why did you say your dash back initiates Torch's dashes in? (Drop the difficult word "horizontal flight" for awhile 'cause it's a confusing term for me lol).
What's that has anything to do with you getting clipped? Ain't it simply a matter of timing your dash after the AI dashes in which is most likely help you get away from their attack?

@@9faris3 The MEDIUM ATTACK and the DASH are two separate events. If you are away from the opponent, and you initiate a Medium attack.. There will be a DASH first.. and then the Medium attack will execute when in range. However, when you are in close range, the medium attack will execute only.
The horizontal flight I'm referring to is part of his dash animation.
So in one instance ( on the right ) the AI didn't use the dash, and simply executed a MEDIUM attack and it was dexed successfully by me because it didn't have the reach necessary to make contact.
In the other instance ( on the left ) the AI compensates the distance and initiates the dash animation to push HT to make the contact. So my question is.. Why?
And If I'm the initiator of attack.. Why is the AI recovering fast enough to initiate a dash at the same time as me? That's not how its supposed to work.
Again.. I'm dashing back immediately after my combo to clear the space.. So either, HT has an accelerated recovery time in the hands of the AI, The AI is targeting your location and compensating the difference to make contact( which there is countless evidence for ), or myself and countless others are simply unskilled.
@@dorklessons I've learnt more than I thought here. Anyway, I've tested this again and I found that HT is a bit different. I don't know if it's good or not.
But it seems like we need to delay our dash back after our successful 5-hit combo on HT.
It's a really miniscule delay that is probably 0.2 sec. Otherwise we will get hit from his 1st medium attack.
I like it 'cause he is different.
I don't like it 'cause it's a basic game mechanic so it should be the same across the board. So I'm a bit in dilemma
is there one for fighting him in AQ? he always regens when I try him in section 2 and it's annoying me, suitable champs to use would also be appreciated.

@@anantrawat2311 lol I know man Weird champs in the game at least both Thing and Torch live up to their Standards look at Euper Skrull and Spider 🕷 man 2099 phewww like why does Kabam even bother making new champs putting tons of time and rss into making them and then their no good and barely anyone in the player base uses them makes absolutely no sense.
