The ceiling is low because that floor was originally a car park, during the ong period, landmarks has applied to convert it into shopping floor but not approve. After landmark control by type M, they apply for transformation of the parking floor into shopping floor, it was approved, so you get a low ceiling floor
@tajasimilah yes there is, when I was near the ground floor near the exhibition stand near the romp shop there was a black board that messed with me while I was on duty on the ground floor....at the security counter.....at the romp....not now at the escalator....he disappeared for a moment when I woke up from sleep at 12.30pm.......

6:26 Sungei Wang is a not really a mall that fits today's definition. It is a shopping center but that does not mean it is all about shopping. These shuttered untis that you showed are not shops since it lacks any signage. They are used as storage rooms for shops. That is why they are in the back. 6:41 If the units are not owned, it would be covered with decorations as seen here. So those shuttered shop lots are in used as storage space, as I said earlier. did you know there is a Mr.DIY in there. Ever wondered where they keep their stock? Or shoe shops for that matter. As you could see the shop lots do not have a large space for storing stocks because back then I don't think shop owners carry a lot of stock so no need for storage. Walking through Sungei Wang is like walking in a town that is housed in a building. You have shops, schools (there is a music school somewhere), service center (saloons, barbers, repair shops etc). The winding maze of shops makes it feel like you are on an adventure exploring a cave. Btw, BB Plaza use to be connected to Sungei Wang making it even more confusing LOL. I like that the management clean up the place and stop people from smoking indoors. In the past, walking pass those phone vendors was the worse experience because that area will stink from cigarette smoke.
I used to visit these places maybe about 15 years ago during the days of digital cameras where there used to be a lot of stores selling those DSLR accessories and a lot of money changers to convert Ringgit to USD. Those days the rate was like 1 USD = RM3.00. Those days prices were cheaper and I went to Disneyland, LA, Vegas and Arizona frequently bringing my small kids along. Nowadays, my kids had grown up and the Ringgit has deteriorated. With the proliferation of online shopping, less and less trip is made to these malls.
I used to go there before pkp and hangout at the Mechadioz, they sell toys from ultraman and Kamen rider and super sentai. Hopefully they still there because now I wanna visit there again
1990 I heard my late uncle said the feng shui Long Naga was living under the ground of the road in front of sungai Wang plaza for 20 years, don't know whether His is still there, so he went to see, I heard he said His is still there, so he predicted sungai Wang will ong for another twenty years from 1990. During 2012, I knew they are going to build an underground MRT way passing through Jalan Bukit Bintang, I guessed they are going to cut off the tie of feng shui of this Naga, it's terrible! It's proven that sungai Wang plaza fall afterwards
@@ryan_go_where I don't know feng shui well but I think the Naga tie is coming all the way from nearby mountain so when they cutting His way underground of Bukit bintang with MRT railway, His has to stay before it and can't come over to sungai Wang, so you can see another nearby mall is ong after 2012
The CHANGE OF FENG SHUI IN THE ENERGY CIRCLE OF FATE. ! ( I KNOWN OF A PEOPLE WHOM TARNISH ME SAYING I AM NOT SUCCESS, AND HE IS SUCCESS, BCOS HE WORKS IN EXECUTIVE LEVEL IN SG.WANG IN 2006. ) TODAY FATE PUNISH HIM.
Sorry but your rating is unfair ^_^;;; This is an old mall that was build during a time with different ceiling regulation. It is not like that they can change that without tearing down the building. Why you use the ceiling height as a matric knowing it is an old building? No air conditioning? Please specify where exactly, which floor, which section, so I can verify it. Don't just say it in general. From my experience I have never encountered such thing as no air conditioning, unless there was a problem with the aircond on that day.
malls, shops, banks, offices everywhere and terrible traffics planning, with all these vehicles render not enough parking, people who work here have occupy all the available parking, where else can customer park, more public transport isn't gonna do shit, people wouldn't like to waste their time waiting at station one spot is popular doesn't mean we should put everything together, sometimes it's best for land left empty
I heard sungai Wang plaza was forced to paid a gangster group in jalan alor for protection all the time, they were sending their gangsters hiding around those back strairs to monitor. I knew they also have a station in one of the floor in the shoplot with McDonald's at the outside road. Can you talk about this matter ?
