When I said welldone South Africa I was not being partisan... We must do away With this power grabbing tht seems to be going on. Yes francophones should stop serving at their masters bidding and Juju is right why are we having people shunted around in private jets and maybachs whose interests are they representing. Clearly there is rot somewhere that needs cleaning out. Rotational leadership YES to that. The majority should not monopolise. If the AU has advised that it be so what wrong implementing it. And yes I will say welldone to Southern Africa for defending the rights of everyone and not being yesses to everything. I does not matter how long it takes but every principle must be questioned if its not fit for purpose. Debate was robust and people refusing the obvious I did not understand. All that was needed was adjourn and consult the AU. The violence resulted because some people wanted a power grab. I may not have agreed with Charumbira but if he did the job well all other differences would be set aside. And anyway, what are they afraid of... Their masters???

What you anglophone countries fail to understand is that you also are still under your master the difference between francophone and anglophone is one master is lenient than the other master.
For one African country to even talk bad about another African country just because they speak different language to what they master spoke, it’s shows the colonisers have ready won, they have captured our minds. Because now it seems like anglophone countries think they are better than the francophones countries. Few years back the whole world watched and witness how brainwashed we black people have become when our fellow brothers in SA were being beaten down from his fellow brothers and told to go back home, when the invaders who toke your land for free, mistreated your people for centuries they were being treated like they belong there than your own true brothers, this is when you know there’s something truly wrong with us Africans worldwide.

The unhappy state of our beloved continent today is exactly what some of us ourselves wanted. The day we’ll truly want a much better and prosperous Africa than the one we have today, we will have it.
Where others unite, we are always divided. It is as if in our continent everything is done to divide us. From management, elections, money, borders…everything divides us. Even our names are always divisive...
This is why the famous project of the United States of Africa has never seen the start of materialisation. The day we, as africans, will definitively overcome our tribal identities, that is when it will be ready to take off.

There is too much bullying going on here, if we want to be one Africa there must be a point where we are ready to listen to each other, follow the rules and get down to business. The points that the SADC region are bringing forth are so critical for the advancement of this continent and us as it's people, people must stop to be self serving for real, how many Africans are suffering as we speak! I am optimistic that one day we will look back and be proud for taking these necessary steps, form whatever narrative you want, but this is a necessary step for this parliament to have some level of meaningfulness, otherwise they can dissolve all the structures and the AU included! And we can be labeled as a jungle and cannot work together at every opportunity given to us.
