      I always label my attachments so it is easier to find them either by the recipients or by me.
      I do respond to others once I receive their emails with an estimate when it is expected to get it delivered.
      Only through this channel and from one Leadership Course; I learned NOT to send an email awhile I'm out of mood.
      Thank you much.

    I feel like they should teach these tips in school - you learn so much about writing but when it comes to writing a simple email you can get really stumped! Going to use your last tip and label my attachments from now on... I never even thought of doing that but it sounds so much more efficient!

    • @AdrianaGirdler

      That's great to hear! I'm glad you're finding the tips easy to implement. Let me know if you need help with labeling the attachments. And you know me - all about efficiency! Cheers!

    Loved this video. I definitely use the "add the email address last" now after also personally experiencing sending an unfinished email accidentally. Also love having emails come in with a clear and relevant subject line.

    • @AdrianaGirdler

      Oh no! Sending an unfinished email is the worst. I'm glad you at least took the experience as a lesson! I agree, clear subject lines are time savers for SURE! Cheers!

      Suzie, its' so true! Writing a good subject line can be hard because you have to grab someone's attention in so few words, but it's so important if you need the person to pay attention to your email. Thanks for watching, cheers!

    Using bold and anything to get attention works best. We also like the subject line idea. Gary Vee always says to put the entire email in the subject line if you want someone to read it. Never tired it but it could work :) Not for every day but interesting idea for when you need it.

    DON'T USE ALL CAPS. ;) I'm loving that Google is now "nudging" when you don't give/get a response in a certain time frame.

    WHY PWOPLE GET OFFENDED WHEN I WRITE ALL CAPITALS? I HAVE BEEN WRITTING ALL CPITALS SINCE SIX GRADE. AND I FEEL IS EASIER AND FASTER TO JUST WRITE AND WRITE WITHOUT CHANGING CAPITALS AND LOWER CASE

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Writing all in capitals comes across as if you are yelling which may be the reason some people are offended. I am assuming you are not in Grade 6 anymore so you may want to consider what is not only easier for you but how your messages are interpreted by others. Just a thought....

    I'm astonished by how many businesses in my small city don't respond to emails at all. If I don't get any response quite quickly, I'm moving on to the next business who will (hopefully) be more responsive.
